On days that there’s a nice slate of DFS NBA games, we’ll give you the game totals, point spreads, and pertinent injury news to follow for NBA daily fantasy, as well as some players that we’re considering for our lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel.
Looking at the tournament slate for 4/7/17, DraftKings has a Jab Step GPP with $225k in the prize pool and $25k going to the winner. At FanDuel, they’ve got a $3 Shot contest with $200k up for grabs with the champ taking home $20k.
As always, be sure and monitor any of the injury news that breaks throughout the day, as value plays and player upgrades can arise in a moments notice. As we enter the final weeks of the season, this is more important than ever. We cannot possibly stress this enough!

Best DFS NBA Picks for April 7, 2017
Russell Westbrook ($14k DraftKings, $13.5 FanDuel)
They finally did it! They finally put Westy at $14k. Honestly, he probably should have been here some time ago, but it’s ok for us today. The Spurs are resting everyone. Seth Curry, Will Barton, Jameer Nelson, Carmelo Anthony, and Kristaps Porzingis are all OUT tonight. There’s plenty of value plays out there to comfortably fit in Westbrook. He is a massive favorite to get that historic triple-double tonight against the Suns. I will have 100% exposure.
Nikola Jokic ($9.6k DraftKings, $10.1k FanDuel)
The Nuggets must win this game. In fact, they must treat every game as a must-win if they want to make the playoffs. Denver currently sits neck and neck with the Blazers for the final spot in the West. If the Nuggets are going to get there, Jokic is going to be the guy that makes it happen. Barton and Nelson are already OUT for tonight so the offensive burden will continue to fall on the shoulders of the youngster. He’s getting 33+ minutes and has triple-double upside every night. Gary Harris and Wilson Chandler make for great mid-range options as well.
Spurs Value Guys
As mentioned in the Westbrook blurb, the Spurs have decided everyone (Kawhi, Aldridge, Gasol, Green, Ginobili, Murray) gets the night off. This will give us real, heavy-minute, value options from this squad. Patty Mills, David Lee, Dewayne Dedmon, and Kyle Anderson will all be used heavily in my lineups tonight. I’ll also have a sprinkle of Davis Bertans. He and Dedmon are the stone minimum price on DraftKings.
