DFS NBA Lineups for February 10, 2017 at Draftkings.com & Fanduel.com

On days that there’s a nice slate of DFS NBA games, we’ll give you the game totals, point spreads, and pertinent injury news to follow for NBA daily fantasy, as well as some players that we’re considering for our lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Nine games on our DFS NBA slate for 2/10/17, highlighted by a daily fantasy friendly Nuggets and Knicks game that sports a 229 game total with just 2 point spread. Horrible news for the Bucks as Jabari Parker has been ruled out for the season with another ACL injury. For DFS purposes, this should open up some value on that squad in the short term. And Kawhi Leonard’s price on DraftKings almost looks like a mistake. He’s just $8.2k after going for fewer than 41 DK points just one time in his last 10 games (oh, and that was a 39.25 against Dallas where he shot 7 for 17). He’ll be a cash game lock that has 50+ point tourney upside.

As always, be sure and monitor any of the injury news that breaks throughout the day, as value plays and player upgrades can arise in a moments notice.

Best NBA Picks for February 10, 2017

Anthony Davis ($10.1k DraftKings, $10.9k FanDuel)
Hopefully Davis doesn’t burn owners after slowly regaining the trust of DFS players by actually finishing a few games in a row. He’s in a plus spot tonight on the road against a Wolves team that ranks 25th in defensive rating and coughs up the fourth-most PPG (22.04) to opposing PFs this season. Davis burned fellow Kentucky product Karl-Anthony Towns for 45 points and 10 boards in a meeting earlier this season and he’s been a problem for Minnesota since he entered the league. Take away an expected lull in a brutal matchup at Utah on Wednesday, and The Brow is averaging 28.8 PPG and 13 RPG over his previous five appearances, so he’s clearly an elite option who comes at a slight discount due to his injury history.

Kevin Durant ($9.4k DraftKings, $10.3k FanDuel)
You have to love Durant’s price tag on DK tonight and consider him as a safer play than Steph Curry in the same price range. The most efficient perimeter player in the NBA this year is shooting a career-best 53.7% from the floor as a member of the Warriors and he might be the Splash Brother that steps up in tonight’s tough test at Memphis. The Grizzlies have figured out how to contain Curry and Klay Thompson in the past, but have had no answers for KD this year, as the Thin Man is averaging 24 PPG and 10 RPG while carrying the Dubs in a couple of close tilts with Memphis. The fact that those games have been close and that tonight’s line is close once again on the road is the most appealing factor for a member of a Big 3 that often spends the fourth quarter resting in blowout victories.

Nikola Jokic ($9.2k DraftKings, $9.9k FanDuel)
It was fair to wonder of The Joker’s triple double on his first night back from a groin injury was a bit of a fluke, as he struggled in consecutive games after that while playing limited minutes. Yet he’s clearly not on any restrictions after turning in a big double double (18 points, 15 rebounds) in a loss at Atlanta on Wednesday and he should be all systems go ahead of tonight’s juicy matchup. The Knicks are giving up the most PPG (22.93) to opposing PFs this season and coughing up 110.3 PPG since December 1 while plummeting in defensive rating (ranked 24th now). Jokic is fully capable of exploiting that undisciplined defense with his deft passing and complete offensive game, so look for him to put on a show at MSG tonight.

Mid Tier DFS NBA Picks

Kristaps Porzingis ($6.9k DraftKings, $6.8k FanDuel)
We’ve been waiting for a breakout game from Porzingis for a couple of weeks and he finally delivered with 27 points over just 27 minutes in a loss the Clippers on Wednesday. He got into foul trouble once again while trying to guard Blake Griffin but he should receive a break on the defensive end with Kenneth Faried and Danilo Gallinari ruled out for Denver, as emerging stud Guillermo Hernangomez should guard Jokic to start. On the other end, The Zinger draws a great matchup against a Nuggets team that ranks dead last in defensive rating and second-to-last in opponents FG shooting (.477%) this season and he’s still under priced given his upside.

Will Barton ($6.1k DraftKings, $5.8k FanDuel)
Sticking with a game to target tonight, Barton should continue to see ample opportunities with Faried, Gallinari and Emmanuel Mudiay all expected to sit out for the Nuggets tonight. He caught fire over his last two appearances with 48 points, 15 rebounds and 12 assists and remained on the floor for 38 minutes despite shooting 0-for-9 from 3 in Atlanta on Wednesday. Clearly, Denver needs Barton’s offense with those players out and he’s sporting a 24% Usage Rate while averaging 0.99 FPs per minute when those 3 Nuggets are off the floor this season. Barton will not be afraid of the bright lights at MSG this evening and he should be able to keep rolling against the Knicks porous defense.

Bargain Tier DFS NBA Picks

Denver Nuggets Value
Jokic, Barton and Wilson Chandler stand out as the top options for the Nuggets tonight, but they come at a high price. If you’re looking for value, Jameer Nelson ($4.4k, $4.4k) should start at PG and serve as a low-upside cash game play with some risk considering his drop off in production. Jamal Murray ($3.8k, $4k) will have to do more in fewer minutes than Nelson, but he’s more fresh and explosive, i.e. a better GPP play. Finally, Gary Harris ($5k, $5.1k) is a solid mid-tier play and Darrell Arthur ($3.5k, $4.3k) can serve as something of a longshot with Faried out.

Brandon Ingram ($4.4k DraftKings, $4.1k FanDuel)
The Lakers have thrown in the towel on their season and begun to focus on player development over getting wins on a nightly basis. That’s led to increased playing time for Ingram and the rookie has responded with solid averages of 14.7 PPG and 5.3 RPG while shooting an efficient 16-of-31 from the floor during that span. Tonight he faces a Bucks team that coughs up the most DK PPG to opposing SFs this season and may be struggling to adjust with their star PF Jabari Parker (knee) out for the rest of the year.

John Henson ($4.1k DraftKings, $3.9k FanDuel)
Sadly, Jabari Parker will miss the remainder of the season for the Bucks with a torn ACL. Yet that opens the door for Bucks forwards including Michael Beasley, Mirza Teletovic and Henson to log more minutes and see increased usage on offense. Henson had been coming on strong after emerging from HC Jason Kidd’s doghouse with averages of 12 PPG, 5.7 RPG and 2.3 BPG over his last three appearances and now he might log the most minutes at PF for Milwaukee, which makes him a great value play who happens to average 1.10 FPs per minute when Parker is off the floor this year.

If, Then Player

The Bulls roster could be chock full of value plays if Jimmy Butler (heel) and/or D-Wade (illness) miss another game. Rajon Rondo is worth a look in GPP formats regardless in a dream matchup against the Suns, while Jerian Grant and MCW are both dart throws in that revolving door rotation.

If Dion Waiters is out, look heavily into the other Heat players as they have one of the best possible matchups in all of the NBA facing the Nets.

And if Markieff Morris is out, Kelly Oubre is just $3.9k. He drew the start and played 33 minutes with Kieff out last game, but only put up 5.25 DraftKings points after putting up 28.25 DK points the game before in 28 minutes. So, that’s the type of guy you’re rostering, but the price/minutes combo would be tough to completely ignore.
