Week 10 of the NFL season is here and we now have a decent amount of data to work with as we try and figure out what defenses to pick on when it comes to putting together our stacks.  The obvious stacks are the QBs-WRs; however there are a few others that we get to take a look at.  Let’s take a look at who we should be looking at to pair together this weekend.

QB/WR Stacks

We have a number of interesting options to stack this weekend as we get a couple of the elite QB’s playing at home against very strong defenses.  I think guys like Brees and Brady are excellent GPP options thanks to their match-ups; however I wanted to look at a few other stacks that we should be considering.  My favorite stack might surprise people as I REALLY like Trevor Siemian-Demaryius Thomas this weekend as they head to New Orleans.  Looking at Siemian’s game logs we see that his three best fantasy performances this season have all come on the road, so I look for that trend to continue this weekend.  You certainly can use Emmanuel Sanders as well, however I like Thomas’ match-up slightly better.

My next stack is going to be the Green Bay pass offense as they are attempting a ridiculous amount of passes right now, so it’s almost impossible to not use them.  When it comes to choosing a WR to add to the stack it gets tricky.  With that said I am leaning towards Aaron Rodgers-Davante Adams as Tennessee loves to blitz (6th highest rate in the NFL) and Rodgers completes nearly 75% of the passes he throws in Adams’ direction when he is being blitzed.  Those completions have resulted in 4 TD’s so far this season.  The last two stacks are one’s that might leave you wondering about for different reasons.

I really like Carson Palmer-Larry Fitzgerald this weekend as they should be able to destroy the 49ers.  EVERYBODY is going to be on David Johnson and for that reason I think Palmer-Fitz and even JJ Nelson make great GPP options.  We know that Fitzgerald has torn apart the 49er D throughout his career.

My last stack is one that I think gets on the same page for a monster week in the near future as Jay Cutler-Alshon Jeffery should connect like old times soon and I am betting on it being this weekend!

RB/DEF Stacks

Like I said under the QB stacks, David Johnson is going to be extremely high owned as the 49ers rush defense has been gashed over the last few weeks and now they get the best all-around RB in the NFL.  I love Arizona’s defense, especially at home in this one as they could make it a LONG afternoon for Kaepernick and the SF offense.

I think it is finally time to take the Melvin Gordon-San Diego stack seriously for fantasy purposes as the defense is playing extremely well with 3 double digit fantasy performances over the last 4 weeks.  We already know what Gordon has been doing as he gets touches by the truck load.  I really like the match-up for Lamar Miller-Houston this weekend as the Jags D is best attacked on the ground, while the Jags O has to constantly throw the ball as they are always in come from behind mode.  My fourth stack is one that will fall into the category below; however I will talk about it here as the RB was recently named to be the #1 back.

Darren Sproles-Philadelphia is the type of stack that can win you a GPP this weekend as Sproles has seen his role expand in recent weeks and we already know the defense is very big play based.  It is certainly with risk as we know how well the Atlanta offense has been playing.

Returner/DEF Stacks

I mentioned one of my stacks above as we know how dangerous Sproles is when he gets a chance to return a punt, while also being a key part of the offense at this point in the season.  I have to mention Tyler Lockett-Seattle in a very tough match-up against the Patriots this weekend as Lockett looked to be a lot more explosive last weekend than he had been earlier this season.  Seattle’s D is in a tough spot overall, however I never want to bet against them and think they could certainly be an interesting GPP defense.

We already know how dangerous Tavon Austin-LA can be as Austin is another player that can take any kick/punt to the house.  Austin also has a pretty plus match-up on the offensive side of the ball this weekend.

My last stack is probably my favorite one this weekend as Jamison Crowder-Washington is one that I think is even usable in cash as Crowder should see an increase in looks on offense as DeSean Jackson has been ruled out.  My Vikings offense has been abysmal and now they travel to Washington with basically no running game (which is where you can attack Washington’s D) and basically no protection for Sam Bradford.

There you have it for Week 10, a list of my favorite stacking options.  Make sure you let me know how you feel about my article in the comments below or on Twitter.  Make sure to let me know how terrible I am, however if you do that be ready for me to point out when I nailed it!  Best of luck and may your accounts be plentiful come Tuesday morning!
