NFL DFS Week 14 Stacking Options

Welcome to Week 14’s stacks article where I breakdown some of the combination that we should be looking at in our tournament lineups. These are high upsided plays and pairings that can be utilized in large field contests but should probably be avoided in cash games.

QB/WR Stacks

There are a number of QB/WR stacks that stick out to me this weekend and I found it pretty tough to narrow it down, but I have managed to give you the 5 that I will be targeting more than others in my GPP lineups.  My top combination is going to be Tyrod Taylor/Sammy Watkins this week as these two seem to have started to really click and now get to take on the pass defense that is the Eagles (or Swiss Cheese).

My next combination is going to be Jameis Winston/Mike Evans/Austin Sefarian-Jenkins as they are the lucky winners of the who gets to face the Saints sweepstakes!  I prefer the Evans side of the receiving combination however you can not ignore the fact that the Saints have been destroyed by TE’s all season and ASJ is extremely cheap!

My third duo is Russell Wilson/Doug Baldwin as the Seahawks offense is clicking on all cylinders and Wilson is playing the best football of his career. Baldwin has really stepped up in the absence of Jimmy Graham and while I do not expect his TD rate to continue, I do think he offers us great upside for such a cheap price.

My fourth combination is going to be Andy Dalton/A.J. Green as they get to face the Steelers at home.  Green has tormented the Steelers in his career and these two should hook up early and often, Eifert stacked with Dalton makes for an interesting pivot off of Green in a GPP lineup or stacked together.

My last due is going to be Blake Bortles/Allen Hurns.  Now I understand that Allen Robinson had the monster game last week, but that was without Hurns and I think the masses will be more on the Robinson side of things while I will go with Hurns at the cheaper price and the lesser ownership percentage.

RB/DEF Stacks

When it comes to the RB/DEF stacks I have settled on 4 combinations that I think are in the best spots. Doug Martin/TB is one that should be extremely solid, especially for cash game play.  We know that the Saints defense is non-existent, but we also know that their offense tends to disappear on the road and if you add in the fact that Ingram was lost for the rest of the season and you have a sneaky recipe for DFS DEF success.

My second combination is Thomas Rawls/Seattle as the defense gets to face off against Mr. Pick-Six himself, Matt Schaub.  Rawls’ match-up is a little tougher, however the offense is clicking so well that he should be able to put up a solid game.

Jonathan Stewart/Carolina is my third combination as the Falcons offense just has fallen apart and I think Carolina is embarrassed by how they played against New Orleans last week.  Stewart should be able to carve up this Falcons defense that has actually been solid against the pass but weak against the rush.

My last combination is a little off the radar as Matt Forte/Chicago could be a surprise this weekend as they get to face Washington at home. Cousins and the Redskins’ offense has struggled greatly on the road this season and that could come in handy for the Bears defense.

Returner/DEF Stacks

I have 5 Returner/Defense stacks that stand out to me this weekend.  All give have return men that are very active in the team’s offense as well as offer dangerous return skills.  Tyler Lockett/Seattle, Jarvis Landry/Miami, Ted Ginn/Carolina, Travis Benjamin/Cleveland, and Danny Amendola/New England are all in great spots with how important they are to the teams’ offense as well as the fact that they can take any kick back for a TD.  Cleveland’s defense is going to be a tough sell, however they do get to take on a weak 49ers team at home who has a QB who is playing over his head right now and is due for some regression at some point.

There we have it for week 14 and our stack possibilities.  I know there are a few other ones that you can probably think of and if you have questions about them please feel free to leave them in the comments or find me on the Twitter machine and I will gladly answer any questions, concerns or thoughts that you may have about this article and this weekend’s slate!
