The NBA Daily Plays for Friday, November 27th breaks down the best Stud, Value and GPP plays at each position for FanDuel and DraftKings daily fantasy sports contests. The Stud & Value plays should be considered relatively chalky and are ideal for cash games. The GPP plays dig a little deeper to hopefully find some low owned talent who could pay off big in a tournament. Make sure you check out our NBA projections page to help in your DFS research.

Point Guard

Studs

Reggie Jackson, Detroit Pistons (FD $7,500, DK $7,200) –

I love playing point guards vs. Russell Westbrook; it’s one of my favorite pastimes. Typically, Westbrook is too busy with putting on an offensive clinic, and his aggressive play style allows opposing guards to make plays. Reggie Jackson has been a great cash play  week, and is likely to continue his consistency tonight.

Values

T.J. McConnell, Philadelphia Sixers (FD $5,000, DK $5,000)-

McConnell is in a great spot tonight, as the Rockets have been miserable vs. opposing point guards to start the season. The undrafted rookie has received consistent minutes each night, and that trend will continue as the Sixers #TrustTheProcess.

GPP Plays

Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets (FD $8,200, DK $7,500)-

Kemba had an off night vs. Washington on Wednesday, falling victim to John Wall’s tough defense. He’s in a perfect position to bounce back vs. Mo Williams’ defense, which has been atrocious at best. Walker’s ceiling is very high tonight.

Shooting Guard

Studs

James Harden, Houston Rockets (FD $10,400, DK $10,100) –

Harden will be a tough fade tonight. The Sixers have shut down opposing shooting guards, but the rules of mere mortals do not apply to The Beard. Harden makes his living at the foul line, and Philadelphia is more than happy to accommodate, as they’ve committed a league-worst 25.7 personal fouls per game over the last week.

Values

J.J. Redick, Los Angeles Clippers (FD $4,500, DK $4,200)-

The Pelicans are absolutely dreadful vs. 3-point specialists, and Redick fits the bill. However, his value purely relies on his shot, so owners may be in for a letdown.

GPP Plays

Jimmy Butler, Chicago Bulls (FD $8,400, DK $8,200) –

Jimmy Butler has adopted this Chicago squad as his own, logging an average of 38 minutes over his last five starts. In order to keep up with Paul George and the Pacers tonight, Jimmy Buckets will be depended on to contribute in every facet of the game.

Small Forward

Studs

Paul George, Indiana Pacers (FD $9,900, DK $10,200)

There is plenty of elite talent available at small forward tonight, but Paul George pops off the paper. Fresh off of a 40-point outing vs. the Wizards, the all star has never looked better. Over his last ten games, George is shooting an alarming .594% from three.

Values

Jae Crowder (FD $4,900, DK $5,700) –

I recommend Jae Crowder almost every night he plays, without any shame to boot. His price is still on point, and the Wizards are one of the worst teams in the league vs. opposing small forwards.

GPP Plays

Kawhi Leonard, San Antonio Spurs (FD $8,800, DK $8,400) –

Tim Duncan (rest) and Manu Ginobli (rest) have already been confirmed out vs. the Nuggets, which will leave a lot of production on the table for those starting for San Antonio. Denver doesn’t have a player that can stop Kawhi Leonard, and the silent killer is bound to have a field day.

Power Forward

Studs

Kevin Love, Cleveland Cavaliers (FD $8,300, DK $8,300) –

Kevin Love is so good. He’s been doing absolutely everything for the Cavaliers recently, and the opposing Hornets are the worst team in the league vs. the power forward position. Get some Love tonight.

Values

David West, San Antonio Spurs (FD $3,800, DK $3,800)-

Tim Duncan will sit vs. the Nuggets tonight, which opens up a can of minutes for David West. The recently-acquired Spur has been very good in limited minutes off of the bench, and should easily meet value vs. a weak Denver front court.

GPP Plays

LaMarcus Aldridge, San Antonio Spurs (FD $7,800, DK $6,800)-

Much like David West, LaMarcus Aldridge will be a huge beneficiary from the absence of Tim Duncan. Aldridge is nearly averaging a double-double on the season, despite the lack of a starting role. Take advantage of an all-star player at a median price tag.

Center

Studs

DeAndre Jordan, Los Angeles Clippers (FD $7,800, DK $7,200) –

DJ is a consistent producer in an ideal matchup tonight vs. the Pelicans. He provides a safe floor with attractive upside to boot. Jordan comes in at barely above $7k on DraftKings, a ridiculous price on such a great player.

Values

Kosta Koufos, Sacramento Kings (FD $4,000, DK $4,500)-

Koufos may go 40% owned tonight, but it’s 100% worth it. It’ll be difficult to find a more reliable play with such an inexpensive price tag. I’ll be rostering Koufos nearly every where.

GPP Plays

Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves (FD $6,900, DK $7,300)

Towns has been disappointing recently, but inconsistent performance is a bitter reality for NBA rookies. The dominant youngster is bound to snap out of his cold streak soon enough, and has a great opportunity to heat up vs. the Kings. Many will be off of Towns based on recency, which could open up the rookie as a great tournament play.
