NBA Daily Plays

The NBA Daily Plays for Wednesday, November 25th breaks down the best Stud, Value and GPP plays at each position for FanDuel and DraftKings daily fantasy sports contests. The Stud & Value plays should be considered relatively chalky and are ideal for cash games. The GPP plays dig a little deeper to hopefully find some low owned talent who could pay off big in a tournament. Make sure you check out our NBA projections page to help in your DFS research.

Point Guard

Studs

Kemba Walker, Charlotte Hornets (FD $8,200, DK $7,400) –

Kemba has been on fire, scoring an average of 27 points over his last four games. Tonight, he’ll go toe-to-toe with John Wall, in one of the most fantasy-friendly games of the evening.

Values

Tony Parker, San Antonio Spurs (FD $5,500, DK $5,100)-

Parker has looked like an ageless wonder lately, as he’s controlled and distributed the rock for the Spurs very well. He’s hit value with ease, and will continue to do so tonight against the Mavericks.

GPP Plays

Brandon Knight, Phoenix Suns (FD $7,900, DK $8,200)-

Brandon Knight has attempted 90 three-point shots over 14 games this season. His opponent tonight, the Pelicans, have allowed 29.8 PPG from the three-point line this year, good for 3rd worst in the league. Knight should rack ’em up in this one.

Shooting Guard

Studs

James Harden, Houston Rockets (FD $10,400, DK $10,300) –

Harden is the highest projected player in our spreadsheets for this evening, and for good reason. Over the last week, he’s hit at least five times his value, and that’s at a ridiculous price tag to boot. Memphis won’t know what to do with him tonight.

Values

Dion Waiters, Oklahoma City Thunder (FD $4,800, DK $4,400) –

I feel a little squeamish recommending Waiters again tonight, but he’s been the best player at his price point. He returned to the bench on Monday, and had managed to have his best game of the season. His minutes are consistent, and his production is following suit.

GPP Plays

Eric Bledsoe, Phoenix Suns (FD $8,500, DK $8,400) –

Just like his teammate Brandon Knight, Bledsoe holds great value as a marksman vs. a team that is horrible at defending 3-point shooters. Bledsoe is questionable for the moment, so be sure to check that he is in the starting lineup.

Small Forward

Studs

LeBron James (FD $10,100, DK $10,100)-

LeBron James is the premiere play at small forward tonight, due to his high floor/ceiling, and the game he’s playing in. Cleveland’s matchup vs. Toronto has a chance to go into overtime, and is much more appealing than Durant’s position in a guaranteed blowout.

Values

Jae Crowder (FD $5,100, DK $5,800) –

Jae Crowder has been dreadful over his last two games, which I’m hoping will take the edge off of his ownership percentage. The Sixers are the worst team in the league vs. opposing small forwards, and Crowder should deliver at his low price tag.

GPP Plays

Rudy Gay, Sacramento Kings (FD $7,600, DK $7,000) –

DeMarcus Cousins is out tonight, which puts Rudy Gay in a position to explode. SAC/MIL has the highest point total on the evening, and Gay is a candidate to be a large contributor.

Power Forward

Studs

Paul Millsap, Atlanta Hawks (FD $8,600, DK $8,200) –

Paul Millsap has been my favorite player at power forward all-season long, as his consistency is a rare commodity in daily fantasy. His matchup tonight isn’t the greatest, but should stuff the stat sheet in a close game vs. the Timberwolves.

Values

Marvin Williams, Charlotte Hornets (FD $4,900, DK $5,700) –

CHA/WAS should be the best game of the evening, so it’s necessary to have some exposure. Marvin Williams is a great target, as his starting role and production are rare at such a low price tag. I prefer to pay up at power forward tonight, but Williams is a great salary relief.

GPP Plays

Kevin Love, Cleveland Cavaliers (FD $8,300, DK $8,300)-

Kevin Love may be having the best season of his career, and the world has yet to take notice. The Raptors are vulnerable in the front court, so take advantage of Love as a tournament play while you can.

Center

Studs

Andre Drummond, Detroit Pistons (FD $9,600, DK $9,400) –

Drummond has cooled down a bit as of late, but is still putting up monstrous numbers. The Heat have allowed 50.3 FanDuel PPG to opposing centers this season, giving Drummond the highest ceiling of his position for the evening.

Values

Kosta Koufos, Sacramento Kings (FD $4,000, DK $4,200) –

In DeMarcus Cousins’ absence, Koufos is likely to receive heavy minutes tonight, and will make value with relative ease. Koufos only needs 20 FPTs on FanDuel to deliver on his price tag.

GPP Plays

Greg Monroe, Milwaukee Bucks (FD $7,800, DK $7,200)-

Monroe hasn’t been flashy this season, but still has the propensity to explode for huge numbers. Tonight could be a great night for the Big Man, as the Kings have been abused by opposing centers of all sizes. Even if Monroe doesn’t go bananas, his great floor won’t burn you.
