Week 11 NFL DFS Plays

Welcome to week 11 NFL DFS plays piece where we highlight the studs and values guys I believe you need to have in your lineups this weekend! I will be discussing some Studs and some value plays to be considered around the industry for this weekends DFS action. Below will be some popular plays and should be on peoples radar for their cash game lineups.

QuarterBack

Studs

Tom Brady, New England Patriots (FD $9200, DK$8500)

This should not shock you as Brady is always going to be a top option and some may think he may suffer from the loss of Edelman, but I think it’s just going to be the next man up mentality as this offense just continues to get things done. His price on FD is getting a little bit too steep, however there are a handful of value plays at the WR position this weekend that a Brady lead lineup is not as difficult to put together.

Other Studs: Cam Newton (DK $6900, FD $8600), Philip Rivers (DK $6900, FD $8300)

Values

Mark Sanchez, Philadelphia Eagles (DK $5000, FD $6400)

Sanchez looks to be the starting QB for the Eagles this weekend as Bradford suffered a concussion and a separated non throwing shoulder last week.  Sanchez actually put up respectable numbers last season as the Eagles starting QB and I think he puts together a pretty solid game in this one as he gets to take on a bottom 10 Buccaneers pass defense.  I want to believe that he won’t be all too popular however I think he will probably be a top 5 QB in terms of ownership % this weekend.

Other Values: Alex Smith (DK $5000, FD $6200), Case Keenum (DK $5000, FD $4800), Brock Osweiler (DK $5000, FD $6000)

Running Backs

Studs

Devonta Freeman, Atlanta Falcons (DK $8400, FD $9100)

Freeman comes off of what was probably a much needed bye week as his production had been trending downwards.  Quite honestly, it may not have been his fault as the Falcons’ offense had really started to struggle.  The Colts have a not-so-good run defense and Freeman gets to take them on at home in this one.  He’s been a huge asset in the pass game and I think that will continue to pay dividends for anybody that uses him as he should see 5-7 catches a game.  I think he is one of the safest RB’s this weekend.

Other Studs: Todd Gurley (DK $7600, FD $9200), Adrian Peterson (DK $6800, FD $8900)

Values

Charcandrick West, Kansas City Chiefs (DK $4500, FD $7100)

West has been extremely dangerous the last few weeks and now he gets to take on the NFL’s worst rush defense as the Chiefs take on the Chargers.  His price is just way way way too low on DK, especially after destroying the NFL’s top overall D in the Broncos last week.  Generally when we think a player will be highly owned in a GPP there is merit to fading him, however with this price I think you just plug him in and worry about beating everybody else at other positions.

Other values: Darren McFadden (DK $5000, FD $6800), LeGarrette Blount (DK $5000, FD $7300), Latavius Murray (DK $5600, FD $6800), Danny Woodhead (DK $5300, FD $6400)

Wide Receivers

Studs

Mike Evans, Tampa Bay Buccaneers (DK $7300, FD $8000)

Evans is basically Winston’s only target right now and I would not be shocked to see Evans finish this weekend with 20+ targets.  When you put that kind of volume against the fact that Philly has been the third worst defense against WR’s this season and you have a recipe for fantasy gold.  I expect Philly to destroy the Bucs in this one and Winston is going to have to throw the ball 40 times.

Other Studs: Julio Jones (DK $9300, FD $9100), Dez Bryant (DK $7700, FD $8400), Calvin Johnson (DK $7200, FD $8100)

Values

Danny Amendola, New England Patriots (DK $4000, FD $6100)

Amendola should be the biggest beneficiary of the loss of Julian Edelman for the Patriots. Amendola caught 10 balls last weekend and I would expect him to end up with 8+ again this week. Amendola does not have Edelman’s shake moves or anything but he is extremely reliable and trust worthy. Enjoy the cheap price while you can!

Other Values:  Stevie Johnson (DK $3900, FD $5600), Jordan Matthews (DK $6000, FD $6300), Brandon LaFell (DK $4300, FD $6900), Michael Floyd (DK $3800, FD $6400)

Tight End

Studs

Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots (DK $7700, FD $8400)

What can I say about Gronk that you have not heard before?  Well, he doesn’t use snapchat if that surprises you?  Seriously, I have nothing.  Its Rob Gronkowski and his QB is Tom Brady, use him if you can as he has the highest upside of any TE out there.  He caught 7 balls for 113 yards and a TD the first time he faced Buffalo this year.

Other studs: Greg Olsen (DK $6200, FD $6400), Tyler Eifert (DK $5900, FD $6200)

Values

Zach Ertz, Philadelphia Eagles (DK $3100, FD $5200)

Ertz has 17 receptions over his last 3 games and I think he is becoming a stronger and stronger option for the Eagles and I think Sanchez is somebody that is going to look to him, especially near the red zone and I am going to go out on a limb and predict that Ertz hauls in his first TD catch of the season this weekend against the Buccaneers.

Other values: Eric Ebron (DK $3500, FD $5400), Coby Fleener (DK $3200, FD $5000), Jacob Tamme (DK $3600, FD $5300)
