Fantasy Rankings FanDuel

It has been a weird couple of days in the NBA and in daily fantasy sports for NBA as well. Hopefully things trend back to the mean tonight. We are here to give you our large field fantasy rankings for FanDuel tournament plays. We have 11 games tonight and we will give you a breakdown of what we feel are the best games to target and the best players to target from those games. We subscribe to the multiple GPP lineups school of thought. We diversify a number of GPP type lineups and then choose our best one to use in all of our heads up and 50/50 games. This heads up lineup is one that we feel has a higher floor and may not have as much potential as other lineups but is the most stacked and consistent lineup that we enter into our tournaments.

POINT GUARD

Ty Lawson – The question of the day appears to be what are you going to do with Ty Lawson. He should be able to run all over the Lakers especially on a back to back but will this game be close enough to see him for all 4 quarters? The line has been trending up all day but at at a 229.5 O/U it is impossible to not have some exposure to Lawson. This is a game that he is made for and I will be rostering him accordingly tonight.

Brandon Jennings – These are strictly GPP plays but with a matchup against Rubio in what should be a very fast paced game I think Brandon Jennings has the possibility of doing some major work tonight.

SHOOTING GUARD

Tyreke Evans – Finally had a significant price jump on FanDuel so he is not as much of a no brainer play as before but he is still getting an incredible amount of minutes and has been on absolute fire recently. Tough to avoid him completely even with the huge price increase.

Kent Bazemore – Still seeing a lot of run and it is really tough to not gravitate towards a game with a 229.5 O/U. If it wasn’t clear enough yet load up at least one GPP roster full of DEN vs LAL and watch the fireworks happen.

Chris Douglas-Roberts – Should get plenty of minutes with Gerald Henderson still out and should have much more space to produce then he did against the Pacers. The Cavs still do not play sound defense against guards and I like Douglas-Roberts more than Gary Neal at this point.

SMALL FORWARD

Josh Smith – This is another fast paced game that could be wild tonight and although Josh Smith is all over the map as far as fantasy production I love what he is capable of tonight. He is a GPP winner and should produce at an incredible clip tonight.

Paul Pierce – Having a really hard time getting away from him as our projections love his chances tonight. Has been producing lately and really should continue in Boston tonight.

Wilson Chandler – I should have told you that I was just going to list every starter from the Nuggets tonight ( I forgot Foye) but I just cannot stay away from this game. If you are multi entry GPP player it would definitely be wise to go contrarian and avoid this game in one lineup but load up with the rest.

POWER FORWARD

Pau Gasol – The man everyone is hoping can keep pace with the Nuggets tonight. He is coming on the second half of a back to back but did not play very many minutes in the blow out last night and still produced respectable numbers. He should have plenty of opportunities to produce in this game tonight.

Kenneth Faried – Love him in fast paced games where his athleticism just takes over. Tonight should be no exception and with him still under 6k on Fanduel he is very easy to squeeze into lineups tonight.

Dirk Nowitzki – Appears to be flying under the radar tonight but I really like his matchup against Portland in what should easily be the second best fantasy scoring game tonight.

CENTER

Al Jefferson  – Has been on a absolute roll and is one of the most consistent players in DFS right now. He gets a cake matchup against the Cavs and Hawes tonight and should be able to take full advantage of that and perform in Big Al type fashion.

J.J. Hickson – When he hits the 25-30 minute mark where he has been living lately he is incredibly consistent with a few monster games mixed in. I like him matching up in this fast paced game again tonight and think he will be fairly highly owned in large field GPPs on Fanduel.

Roy Hibbert – His price has slid off so quickly on FanDuel but when he gets up around 30 minutes he generally has pretty decent games. Facing off against Howard I think Hibbert sees a number of minutes playing defense tonight in this tough matchup but I think that will give him more minutes then he is used to which also should hopefully provide some fantasy goodness at a very reasonable price now.
