POINT GUARD

Stephen Curry – Always seems to step up in big games and going up against Lebron and the Heat without his two big men he may be asked to put up a ton of points to keep pace. He does always seem to respond and even though the Heat play lockdown Defense against the point guard position he is matchup proof and I love to roll him out in big games.

Chris Paul – Everyone seems to love this superstar at his reduced price just waiting for a breakout game. Portland is also terrible defending point guards I will have some exposure to him but do not think he is the must play that everyone else seems to think.

Brandon Knight – The banged up Bucks will be looking for scoring from all comers and Knight should see a number of minutes. The pelicans are also terrible defending the point guard position.

Nick Calathes – It looks like Conley will sit out one more game so ride Calathes well he is cheap and playing well.

Patty Mills – as long as he suits up he is my value play of the night. I love the way he plays and with Parker out he should get plenty of opportunities to shine.

SHOOTING GUARD

Randy Foye – Ty Lawson has already been ruled out and Randy Foye has been playing extremely well albeit the run in with the lockdown Pacers defense. The Timberwolves play an uptempo  style which benefits scorers and Foye should have plenty of opportunities at Point Guard to put up very respectable numbers in the shooting guard

Lance Stephenson – Has had some trouble shaking off the rust but with Monta Ellis trying to D him up he should have a distinct size advantage. Is capable of carrying this Pacers team and will do it tonight in a great matchup.

Gordon Hayward – Although I am not a big fan of his, I do believe the matchup tonight will allow him lots of opportunity to put a huge fantasy night. Lots of people will be on him so I may go against him in some lineups but will definitely have some shares of him as well.

SMALL FORWARD

Lebron James – Had a monster game last night and that should only continue in this high scoring affair. If Wade sits again he gets an even bigger boost.

Luol Deng – Had a respectable game last night and should only continue to improve as he becomes more familiar with the Cavs offense. Detroit does not defend the small forward position well at all and at his decreased price he is a great play in GPPs tonight with his tremendous upside.

Jeff Green – With Kawhli Leonards continued absence the Spurs have continued to struggle against defending small forwards. That will only continue tonight as Jeff Green has been on a tear trying to carry the injury depleted Celtics. Brad Stevenson has tended to ride the hot hand and if Green is once again on tonight he could be in for a monster game.

Kyle Singler – Been very consistent ever since taking over the starting role and at only $3900 still provides tons of value to be able to spend on some high priced players at other places.

POWER FORWARD

Anthony Davis – Against the banged up Bucks defense as long as this game stays close Davis could be in for a monster night. He is a player you have to have some shares of if you play multiple GPP lineups.

Blake Griffin – Has been on a absolute tear and although I think he takes a step back with Chris Paul getting back into the swing of things this should be a fast paced game and with Aldridge not at 100% having to chase Griffin around the floor could be to much. He could go off for a monster game.

Derrick Favors – Loved him last night and he performed well. Should continue against the awful 76ers defense. He should get plenty of opportunity to score lots of points at a midrange price.

Paul Millsap – I only like this play if Amir Johnson has to sit again but if he does that creates a big hole in the Raptors front court that Millsap should be able to take advantage of all game long. With others spending on the high priced power forwards he could sneak under the radar and reward players with a great contrarian play in a great matchup if the stage is set right.

 CENTER

Andre Drummond – Has a fantastic matchup against the Cavs especially if Varejao sits out another game. As long as he stays out of foul trouble I would rather roll with his upside in a GPP then the other high priced centers.

Chris Bosh – No Bogut or O’Neal so Bosh should own the glass. Will be called upon to score more if Wade sits again and should provide a lot of upside as a midrange option.

Marc Gasol – The Magic are awful against big men down low as Vucevic has little to no interest in playing defense. This should open up Gasol to pound the glass and rack up the fantasy points in a grind em out game.

Zaza Pachulia – Gets the start for the injury depleted Bucks and without John Henson should be a ton of minutes. He is a great cheap option to save and spend elsewhere.
