NBA DAILY FANTASY PLAYS
Seriously, I have been running pretty hot when doing an article giving out some plays so I am going to keep it rollin’ with some NBA Daily fantasy plays. It is honestly helping me more than it is anyone that is reading this. It allows me to get some thoughts on paper and go back to them in the mad scramble surrounding lineup locks. I always mean to get actual lineups submitted out but usually get sidetracked scrambling to update rosters. I will try again tonight and will continue updating this page until lineup locks. These are mainly GPP type plays. I generally build a number of variations of tournament lineups and then submit my best one to all of my headsup games.

BEST GAMES TO TARGET
- NBA DAILY PLAYS
POINT GUARD
There is a lot of injury situations to monitor as we move to 6:00 and a lot of the value could come at both guard positions.
Boston Celtics – Rajon Rondo is out and Avery Bradley is a GTD. If he plays I will own him in a few lineups but if he sits as well a lot of people will be on Pressey especially on Draftstreet. If that occurs he may be worth playing in some GPPs but is in no way a must play across the industry. Jerryd Bayless also has some appeal in GPP lineups now that Avery Bradley has officially been ruled out.
Los Angeles Lakers – Steve Nash is in. Farmar is out and Blake is questionable. Once this situation becomes clearer it will be beneficial to role with a couple of the survivors at the guard positions tonight. Kendall Marshall may even be back in play depending on how everything turns out.
Michael Carter-Williams – On a small price break going up against the LAL in the highest projected over under of the night. It is hard to get away from this guy. I will pair him with some LAL and BOS point guards and hope the game stays close.
John Wall – The Cavs have completely stopped playing any semblance of defense at this point. They have completely given up and as long as the game is close John Wall should have his way with whatever he wants to do on the floor.
Ty Lawson – Playing an extremely high number of minutes he is putting up insane numbers and can be considered amongst the game’s elite. Should be a great game to target between NY and DEN
Jameer Nelson – Still relatively cheap across the industry and should see a ton of minutes which always makes him a sneaky play.
SHOOTING GUARD
Again depending on injury news guys like Avery Bradley and Steve Blake should be in play as long as they can go.
Danny Granger – With Lance Stephenson sitting he gets the start and should log some heavy minutes. Has the talent to take advantage of the matchup especially when Batum matches up with Paul George.
Demar Derozan – His Price has come down because of his injury but this could be the game he gets rolling again. Clippers have a difficult time guarding wings with Chris Paul out and Demar could take full advantage of it one last time.
Evan Turner – His price has continued to come down across the industry and with trade rumors still swirling it will be interesting to see how he performs. This could be a big game for him as a lot of 76ers are in play with the Lakers coming to town.
Jeff Green – Has been on a tear especially if Bradley sits he could be forced to shoot a ton.
SMALL FORWARD
Paul George – Will be asked to create his own shot and be the primary playmaker with Stephenson out. Once he gets rolling he should be tough to stop in what will be a close tight game with Portland.
Wesley Johnson – Again have to monitor the Lakers injury situation but right now it looks like Wes will be seeing a ton of minutes and has to be played after exploding for 23.5 points in the first quarter on Wednesday.
Ryan Kelly – Again with the number of injuries the Lakers are facing and with him fast paced this game should be grabbing as many healthy bodies from the Lakers and loading up elsewhere will be a very popular strategy tonight.
POWER FORWARD
Power forward is where I will be spending money tonight as there seems to be a ton of value and great matchups.
Carmelo Anthony – Bobble head revenge game all wrapped up into along. Add that to the fact that that Denver has been brutal against power forwards and this has the second highest over under of the night and you have the play of the night in Melo
Blake Griffin – One more game without CP and he has been a monster since the offense has had to roll through him. Should have a great game tonight as Toronto has had trouble stopping athletic bigs recently.
Jared Sullinger – Logging heavy minutes and putting up fantastic numbers and his price has not risen across the industry yet. Continue to play his value as he should be heavily owned again tonight.
Thaddeus Young – Has a monster mismatch if Ryan Kelly is asked to guard him. Has been a monster on the glass and should dominate tonight.
Serge Ibaka – Blowout factor in effect but no one can slow him down from Orlando and should be able to own the boards.
CENTER
Demarcus Cousins – Boogie is facing off against Boston who has no one inside who can stop him. Has the best matchup of the big three tonight and if Boston can keep it close he should put up a ton of points.
Spencer Hawes – Extremely inconsistent but some spread of 76ers players in all of your GPP lineups is a good idea tonight. Add in some Lakers players and as long as you hit on the right combination and spend your dollars wisely you should be able to finish ITM of some GPPs.
Andre Drummond – Has a fantastic matchup against the Nets front court tonight. Unless KG returns to his big ticket days Drummond should dominate the paint and put up solid numbers at a respectable price.
Robert Sacre / Chris Kaman – Take your pick one maybe both should put up respectable numbers if you want to punt the center position tonight.
