NBA GPP PLAYS DAILY FANTASY SPORTS

Once again we are coming back to help you out on this action packed tournament night. We have entries into the NBA $150K Big Score on Draftstreet  along with the $120K Wed NBA Super Slam at FanDuel  and our usual array of smaller buy in tournaments and heads-up action on FanDuel. Below are some high variance picks that will help you win some of the bigger tournaments out there tonight. Once it is closer to roster lock and we have a better feel for who is playing and who isn’t, we will update this page with some of our actual GPP lineups. We believe in entering multiple lineups into GPPS and covering lots of basis’s which gives you better odds to hit on a winning combination. We have had lots of success recently with this strategy and hopefully it will continue tonight! There are a number of injuries to monitor. We have identified all of the main ones. We will update this list until roster locks at 7:00 EST.

POINT GUARD

Rajon Rondo – Coming off his best game of the season and looks like he is finally shaking the rust off. He now has a great matchup against the hapless 76ers. Look for him to keep rolling but be weary that he should be a popular play tonight.

Kyrie Irving/ Jarrett Jack – Jack got the start the other night which does not make much sense but Kyrie still had a solid performance. Another great matchup going up against the Lakers and also being at home where Kyrie usually plays lights out. He could be in for a solid performance but I may roster Jarrett jack in a lineup too due to the blowout factor with the Lakers coming off a back to back.

Nick Calathes – Value play as long as Conley sits again. Should have no problem scoring against the horrific back court defense of the Mavericks.

Damian Lillard – The two games I am really looking to target players from is the POR VS. NY and MIA VS LAC games. Damin Lillard has been extremely inconsistent but I am hoping he is underowned so that I can catch him on a big game with lots of people leaning the wrong way. I won’t have him everywhere but am going to roll him out in a select few spots.

SHOOTING GUARD

Dwayne Wade – Like I said I really like the POR VS. NY and MIA VS LAC. If Wade can stay healthy for a decent stretch his price is going to skyrocket across all of the sites.

Bradley Beal – seriously can we just get some consistency with his name and his game. Every day I have to change his name from Brad to Bradley across multiple platforms. One of these days he is going to explode which is why I love him as a high upside high risk play tonight in any GPP format.

Courtney Lee – With Tony Allen continuing to sit out Lee’s price tag is still extremely attractive. Add to the fact he squares off against Monta Ellis who has absolutely no interest in playing defense and you have an attractive value play at the shooting guard position tonight.

SMALL FORWARD

Lebron James – Two very strong performances will have everyone climbing about Bron Bron in a primetime game. I also love the look of the MIA vs LAC game. I will have a mix of Lebron tonight. He may be such a popular play that a fade would work great if he doesn’t have a superstar game.

J.R. Smith – Coming off the bench he has been playing very well and with the Knicks trying to keep pace with Portland he will be asked to score a ton which boosts his fantasy value immensely.

Khris Middleton – Caron Butler is out for a while and Middleton has been playing well lately. With how cheap he is he may be a necessary partner to squeeze Lebron into your lineups.

POWER FORWARD

Jared Sullinger – Matching up against the inept 76ers defense and add to that the tear he has been on recently and you have the biggest must play of the night at his price of only $5800.

Kenneth Faried – Off of a monster performance where he was on a monster tear it should only continue tonight. His FP/Minutes is astonishing and hopefully will continue and for just $5800 could be a nice mix with Sullinger even though PF is loaded at the top tonight.

Ersan Iylasova – Monitor John Hensons injury situation but as long as he is out. Ersan gets a green light and is great value.

CENTER

Dwight Howard – His price has continued to trend downwards and is going close to being a must play as a superstar whos price is way undervalue. One of these games he will break out and even though the Suns have been better against the Bigs he should still put up a solid game.

Anderson Varejao – Very interested to see the percentage owned of Anderson Varejao across daily fantasy sites tonight. I think people will have a ton http://skylitecellars.com/ of exposure to him as he squares off against the Lakers. Probably best to have him in some lineups but also fade the masses in certain situations in order to give yourself a different play in a GPP.

Ronnie Turiaf – Had a solid game yesterday and still min priced across the board. Will be interesting to see how Love bounces back after taking a tough fall yesterday. Turiaf may be called upon to pick up the rebounding slack.

Marc Gasol – An interesting contrarian play that we have our eyes on is Marc Gasol. After coming back from injury his price has trended downwards and we may finally be looking at his breakout game. Dallas does not defend down low all that well with their rotation of Dalmebert and Blair. Gasol could finally feast and show off his natural talent as one of the best bigs in the league.
