NBA DAILY PLAYS FANDUEL DAILY FANTASY SPORTS

Although we do not normally do this or plan to do it very often going forward today we are giving some of our best NBA plays on Fanduel due to the great tournaments that are running. These are high variance picks that will help you win some of the bigger tournaments on FanDuel. Once it is closer to roster lock and we have a better feel for who is playing and who isn’t, we will update this page with some of our actual GPP lineups. We believe in entering multiple lineups into GPPS and covering lots of basises which gives you better odds to hit on a winning combination. We have had lots of success recently with this strategy and hopefully it will continue tonight! Also please note the Detroit Pistons vs Atlanta Hawks game has been postponed to a future date. There are a number of injuries to monitor. We have identified all of the main ones. We will update this list until roster locks at 7:00 EST.

Injuries to Watch

Joakim Noah

Kirk Hinrich

Ty Lawson

James Harden

Dwyane Wade – In

Ekpe Udoh

Rudy Gay

DeMarcus Cousins

DeMar DeRozan -Out

Rajon Rondo – Out

Point Guard

Michael Carter-Williams – Peripheral stats make him enticing on a nightly basis. Going up against the Celtics in what could finally be a close game for the 76ers he is in play as long as they can avoid a blow out.

Kyle Lowry – Carried the team on his back with Demar Derozan out. If he sits again Lowry will be looked on to replicate his Saturday performance.

Jeremy Lin – Had a solid game last night with James Harden out. Is a very streaky player but if Harden sits again he will have ample opportunity to produce.

Ramon Sessions – Has not performed well but that could all change tonight especially if Ty Lawson sits for Denver. Is a great matchup in a fast paced game and Ramon could put up a ton of points with Kemba still on the shelf.

Shooting Guard

Monta Ellis – Always a boom or bust player but his salary has decreased quite a bit on FanDuel and since they are not an efficiency site it is safe to roll out some Monta Ellis as a boom or bust option.

Gerald Henderson – With no Kemba Walker in the lineup look for Gerald to pick up the scoring for the Bobcats

Marco Bellinelli – He is the last man standing in the Spurs backcourt. Can be very streaky but with the amount of minutes he will see tonight I will be loading up on him in GPPS and saving money to spend elsewhere.

Randy Foye – Been incredibly consistent lately and if Lawson does not play he could be in for a number of scoring opportunities.

Small Forward

Lebron James – Everyone is talking about the matchup with Durant. The MVP talk about Durant pissing the King off. Tonight is the night to put up or shut up. I will probably go 50% Lebron. Have some shares but he could also be a great fade if he lays a dud.

Kevin Durant – Will come to play verses James and cannot be stopped right now. With everyone riding Lebron he could also turn into an interesting contrarian play.

Jeff Green – Stud or Dud. Has the best matchup of the night as a small forward facing the 76ers. His price along with his upside make him a great play in all GPP formats.

Shawn Marion – Will see plenty of opportunities to produce and with his price coming down should be a consistent performer tonight.

Power Forward

Dirk Nowitzki – Terrance Jones lack of defense will allow him many open looks tonight. Could be an interesting underowned play that can put you over the top in a GPP.

Boris Diaw – Got on board with him yesterday which was the perfect time. Will ride him another night as he carried the load for the Spurs yesterday and will look to have back to back great games. Might be overowned tonight so won’t have him everywhere but will still roll with him a lot.

Markieff Morris- Also been on a tear lately. If you want to save some money he is still way undervalued at his current price.

Brandon Bass – One of the Celtics front court man will have a great game tonight. It is just impossible to predict which one. Bass is the cheapest of the three and if he can get hot will offer GPP winning upside.

Center

Dwight Howard – so so game yesterday with Harden out. Should produce tonight and is the top center option in what should be a close tight game with Dallas.

Al Jefferson – Been on a tear lately and will have to score even more with Kemba out. The offense flows through him and he should be in for another monster game.

Jonas Valanciunas –with Vucevic out for the Magic. If he can get started right he could be in for a monster game.  And with everyone leaning on Turiaf if he lays a dud Valanciunas could be the separator in a GPP.

Ronny Turiaf – Everyones favorite sleeper tonight. Should see ample run at near minimum prices. Will be rostered across the industry as he looked good when Pek went down.
