Thanksgiving game previews

Chicago Bears at Detroit Lions (12:30 p.m. ET)

The Bears’ fourth-ranked scoring defense takes to the road to face QB Jeff Driskel and the Lions. Detroit gives up an average of 26.5 points per game, but Chicago ranks 28th with just 17.1 points per game on offense.

As a result, Bears QB Mitchell Trubisky is a decent value in a quality matchup. WR Anthony Miller is a GPP play. RB David Montgomery ($5,400 DK, $5,900 FD) is the game’s top player, but he’s sure to be highly owned. Lions RB Bo Scarbrough and WR Kenny Golladay are GPP options. TE T.J. Hockenson has the top individual matchup.

Buffalo Bills at Dallas Cowboys (4:30 p.m. ET)

The Cowboys are the highest-scoring team on the full-day slate (26.8 PPG). The Bills rank 21st in scoring but they have the third-best scoring defense at 15.7 points allowed per game. RB Devin Singletary ($5,800 DK, $6,600 FD) will be a hot commodity against a Cowboys defense better against the pass than the rush.

Both teams have a top-six passing defense but look at Cowboys WR Michael Gallup ($5,500 DK, $6,800 FD) as he draws secondary coverage. Bills TE Dawson Knox ($2,900 DK, $4,500 FD) is a cheap touchdown threat.

New Orleans Saints at Atlanta Falcons (8:20 p.m. ET)

This is sure to be Thanksgiving’s most-heavily targeted game. The Saints rank ninth in the NFL with 24.7 PPG and the Falcons allow 27.0 PPG. Atlanta won the first meeting between the two in Week 10, but QB Drew Brees, RB Alvin Kamara and WR Michael Thomas will be looking for revenge. Look to Saints TE Jared Cook ($4,800 DK, $6,700 FD) who has touchdowns in back-to-back games. Falcons WR Russell Gage ($4,500 DK, $5,400 FD) received 10 targets in Week 12.
