Joe Burrow Over 24.5 completions (-110)
The Rams are shutting down opposing rushing attacks while yielding just 54 rushing YPG in these playoffs. The Titans have been the second-best run defense in that span, and Burrow completed 28 of 37 passes for 348 yards despite taking nine sacks in a win at Tennessee in the Divisional Round.
After a lull in the middle of his sophomore campaign, Burrow caught fire while completing 67 passes for 971 yards in wins over the Ravens and Chiefs. Cincinnati OC Brian Callahan is calling a much higher pass-play percentage (63.5%) as a result and shouldn’t be too stubborn about calling run plays into the teeth of Aaron Donald’s defensive line.
Cooper Kupp First TD Scorer & Rams Win (+550)
Despite the fact that every defense has been angling to stop him, Cooper Kupp still finds ways to get open. He continued his insane scoring production with both of the Rams’ TDs in the NFC Championship and he’s sporting a 33% red zone target share on the season. In these playoffs, 83.3% of TDs scored against the Bengals have come through the air, and the Rams scored a league-low 10.3% of their TDs via the rush in home games this season.
If you’re a believer in Los Angeles to win this game, Cupp will have a ton to do with it. He’s the best bet to score a TD before anyone else and combining it with a victory produces some decent odds.
Trey Hendrickson To Record Game’s First Sack (+500)
The Bengals’ defensive end recorded at least 0.5 sacks in 11 straight games this season and smashed the franchise record with 14 sacks over 15 games. While Matthew Stafford has taken sacks at a much lower rate than Joe Burrow, the Rams’ aging offensive line might have trouble dealing with Hendrickson on the edge.
Andrew Whitworth is a 40-year-old tackle playing through a knee injury and fellow OT Joe Noteboom (pectoral) is questionable after missing the NFC Championship. Hendrickson wrangled Patrick Mahomes for 1.5 sacks in the AFC Championship and Stafford is certainly less elusive.
Both Teams To Convert 2+ Field Goals (+250 or better)
Neither of these teams has been particularly efficient in the red zone. The Rams are converting 46.7% of red-zone possessions into TDs in these playoffs and the Bengals have the second-lowest conversion rate (36.4%) of any team in the red zone over their last three games.
While the Rams’ defense has allowed an 80% TD conversion rate in the red zone, Cincy is struggling in that area to such a degree that you can’t count on many drives finishing in the end zone.
Bengals rookie kicker Evan McPherson is 12-for-12 on field goals this postseason with the ability to convert from well outside the red zone. Rams kicker Matt Gay is 11-for-12 on field goals over the past two postseasons and he’s converted on 86.5% of field goal attempts in his career at home.
Odell Beckham Jr. First Reception Over 9.5 Yards (+100)
With defenses keying in on Cooper Kupp, Beckham Jr. has become an important intermediary threat, with Van Jefferson running most of the deep routes for the Rams. Beckham has caught 19 of 23 targets while averaging 12.4 yards per reception in these playoffs and he averaged 17.7 yards per catch over three home games with the Rams to close out the regular season.
Odell has become increasingly involved in Sean McVay’s offense after getting traded from the Browns and has 512 unrealized Air Yards on the season, indicating his potential for big plays in an offense that averaged the second-most yards per attempt (8.2).
