As with any daily fantasy sport, the advice below is relevant for fantasy purposes. A player or team might be better or worse from a fantasy perspective than in real life due to matchup, price, game flow and several more factors. This viewpoint is important to remember when constructing a roster on any of the daily fantasy sites.

FanDuel DFS Quarterback Picks

Baker Mayfield vs. CIN $7.7K

Nick Chubb is going to be highly owned in tournaments, and he should be, but I think it’ll leave Baker Mayfield with a low ownership number. Mayfield’s best fantasy showing of the season came four games ago against this same leaky Bengals defense. Baker had four passing touchdowns, and Cincinnati enters the week having allowed the most yards and second-most fantasy points to quarterbacks.

Nick Foles vs. HOU $6.0K

Playing Nick Foles will allow you to do a lot of creative things with your lineup. You can spend up at wide receiver (WR) or running back (RB) by saving money at the quarterback (QB) position. We’ve seen Foles get it done at this time of the year on the game’s biggest stage, so there’s no reason to think he can’t return value against Houston. The Texans have allowed the most yards to QBs over the last four weeks.

Cash game QBs to consider: Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, Deshaun Watson, Andrew Luck, Ben Roethlisberger, Josh Allen

FanDuel DFS Running Back Picks

Marlon Mack vs. NYG $7.0K

Marlon Mack had a season-high 27 carries and 139 rushing yards last week against a tough Dallas defense. There’s no reason to think he won’t touch the ball another 20 times against a weak New York defense. The ownership will be high because of it, but the matchup and price are too nice to fade. The Giants are allowing an average of 25 fantasy points to running backs over their last four games. Five running backs have had at least 100 yards against them since Week 8.

Leonard Fournette @ MIA $7.3K

If you want a low-owned back with potential to win you a tournament, try Leonard Fournette. He’s been so disappointing that I feel most are done with him. Fournette has totaled only 25 carries in the last two games for 82 yards. We are used to seeing him touch the ball 25 times in one game. All he needs is a couple against Miami, though, as they are coughing up the second-most rushing yards to running backs.

Jamaal Williams @ NYJ $5.8K

The high ceiling isn’t there and the ownership number will be, but I think you take the price discount on Jamaal Williams this week. Keep an eye on practice reports, but it sounds like he’ll play. Aaron Jones is done for the season, and Williams had 15 touches for all-purpose 97 yards, plus a touchdown, against the Bears last week. You’re paying for cheap volume here.

Cash game RBs to consider: Ezekiel Elliott, Nick Chubb, Alvin Kamara, Dalvin Cook, Jaylen Samuels, Elijah McGuire, Joe Mixon, Tarik Cohen, Christian McCaffrey

FanDuel DFS Wide Receiver Picks

Robby Anderson vs. GB $5.9K

Robby Anderson’s price jumps out at me this week, and he’s been good. Anderson has 25 targets, 15 catches, and 220 yards in his last three games. He has touchdowns in back-to-back games, and Quincy Enunwa is ruled out again.

Adam Thielen @ DET $7.6K

Adam Thielen is in a good bounce-back spit here after he finished with two catches for 19 yards last week. Thielen has been much quieter of late, and he not only makes for a contrarian play because of it; he’s become easier on the wallet. He’ll avoid Darius Slay, and if Damon Harrison plays for Detroit, it’ll be much tougher for Minnesota to run the football.

Alshon Jeffery vs. HOU $6.3K

You don’t have to pair Alshon Jeffery up with Nick Foles, but the duo has been on the same page in its last few games. Jeffery has 26 targets, 19 catches, 379 yards, and three touchdowns in his past four games with Foles dating back to last season. Against the Rams last week, Alshon caught all eight of his targets for 160 yards in their first game together this season. Houston has allowed the second-most yards and third-most fantasy points to wideouts over the last four weeks.

Cash game WRs to consider: DeAndre Hopkins, Julio Jones, Antonio Brown, Davante Adams, Michael Thomas, Robert Woods, Amari Cooper, Julian Edelman

FanDuel DFS Tight End Picks

Gerald Everett @ ARI $4.8K

Gerald Everett is as cheap as I’d go at the tight end position. I know Arizona has been good against tight ends and the pass, but Todd Gurley is not 100 percent, and Everett is starting to trend up. He has nine catches and 14 targets in his last two games and three TDs in his past five.

Cash game TEs to consider: George Kittle, Evan Engram, Eric Ebron, David Njoku

FanDuel Defense DFS Picks

Minnesota Vikings @ DET $4.6K

Matthew Stafford has three touchdowns and three interceptions in his last five games. Minnesota had nine sacks in its last game and 10 a few weeks ago against Detroit.

Cash game DSTs to consider: Chicago Bears, Los Angeles Rams, Cleveland Browns, Atlanta Falcons
