The NFL is rolling, and injury news continues to create implications in seasonal and daily fantasy football as well as in sports betting markets. Every week, we’ll bring you a list of the key injuries that could impact sports betting odds and DFS contests on sites such as DraftKings and FanDuel.

Note that players who fail to practice on Thursdays and/or Fridays leading into games may be listed as questionable but are in actuality closer to doubtful. Be sure to check back each afternoon to see whether critical players did any work in practice for clues as to their eventual status.

NFL coaches are famous for being taciturn when it comes to injuries, so nothing is set in stone when trying to predict how a player will perform, even if active.

This article will be updated several times throughout the week, so check back often. Here are the key injuries to watch ahead of Week 10.

Sam Darnold, New York Jets (Foot, Out)

The Jets will show mercy by sitting overmatched rookie Sam Darnold with a foot injury. Josh McCown will start in an upgrade for every skill position player on the Jets roster, although he draws a tough matchup against the stingy Bills.

Josh Allen, Buffalo Bills (Elbow, Questionable)

Bills rookie Josh Allen is practicing, but may be out through the Bills Week 11 bye. Veteran Derek Anderson (concussion) is out, so the Bills will be forced to give Nathan Peterman another start at the Jets Sunday if Allen can’t go.

Joe Flacco, Baltimore Ravens (Hip, Questionable)

The Ravens are on a bye week, but Joe Flacco is reportedly dealing with a lingering hip injury. If he needs rest or surgery, exciting rookie Lamar Jackson would take over.

Running Back

Leonard Fournette, Jacksonville Jaguars (Hamstring, Questionable)

Leonard Fournette may finally be ready to return to action following the Jags bye week. Jacksonville will likely tread lightly with their offensive center piece. Carlos Hyde and T.J. Yeldon should see plenty of work with Fournette likely handling under 20 touches.

Kerryon Johnson, Detroit Lions (Ankle, Questionable)

Kerryon Johnson has been limited in consecutive practices and could see fewer snaps against the Bears elite defense Sunday. Theo Riddick returned from a knee injury last week and looked very productive in the passing game with Matthew Stafford under constant pressure.

Sony Michel, New England Patriots (Knee, Questionable)

Sony Michel has missed consecutive games and James White has dominated snaps out of the backfield. Michel is expected to return in Week 10 at the Titans and serve as an early-down back with White likely seeing more touches.

Chris Carson, Seattle Seahawks (Hip, Questionable)

Mike Davis is poised to lead the backfield in Week 10 at the Rams with Chris Carson limited in practice this week.

Chris Thompson, Washington Redskins (Ribs, Out)

Chris Thompson will miss another game along with three starters on Washington’s offensive line. Kapri Bibbs will serve as a solid value in Week 10 against the Bucs.

Gio Bernard, Cincinnati Bengals (Knee, Questionable)

While Joe Mixon remains the Bengals featured back, Gio Bernard could see a lot of work on passing downs with the high-powered Saints visiting Cincy this Sunday. The Bengals will need his production in the passing game with A.J. Green likely out.

Chris Ivory, Buffalo Bills (Shoulder, Questionable)

Chris Ivory is in danger of missing Sunday’s game at the Jets with a shoulder injury and didn’t practice Wednesday. LeSean McCoy would be easier to trust if Ivory is out.

James Conner, Pittsburgh Steelers (Concussion, Questionable)

James Conner was placed in the league’s concussion protocol following Thursday’s win over Carolina. Le’Veon Bell may report to the team prior to Tuesday’s cutoff, but if he doesn’t and Conner is out in Week 11, Stevan Ridley and Jaylen Samuels would split carries.

Raheem Mostert, San Francisco 49ers (Arm, Out)

The Niners sent Raheem Mostert to I.R. with a broken arm. Matt Breida will lead the backfield and Alfred Morris could have a role again. This offense is looking up with Nick Mullens poised to start going forward

Out for Extended Period: Jay Ajayi, Devonta Freeman, Rex Burkhead, Jerick McKinnon, Derrius Guice, Rob Kelley, Jeremy Hill

Wide Receiver

A.J. Green, Cincinnati Bengals (Toe, Questionable)

The Bengals expect A.J. Green to miss at least one game with a toe injury. Tyler Boyd will become the Bengals top receiver with Green on the shelf and they’ll hope that John Ross (groin) and TE C.J. Uzomah (shoulder) can get healthy in time to face the visiting Saints.

Geronimo Allison, Green Bay Packers (Hamstring, Out)

Geronimo Allison was placed on I.R. and will require core surgery. Marquez Valdes-Scantling should serve as the Packers No. 2 receiver the rest of the season. Randall Cobb (hamstring) is questionable after suffering a setback, so Equanimeous St. Brown could see action against the Dolphins as well.

Allen Robinson, Chicago Bears (Groin, Questionable)

Allen Robinson has missed consecutive games, opening up opportunities for Anthony Miller and Josh Bellamy. Robinson is practicing in full and is slated to return this week.

Pierre Garcon, San Francisco 49ers (Knee, Questionable)

Pierre Garcon is dealing with knee and shoulder injuries and if he’s out Monday night against the Giants, Marquise Goodwin and George Kittle will be easier to trust with promising rookie Nick Mullens targeting them most often.

Doug Baldwin, Seattle Seahawks (Groin, Questionable)

Doug Baldwin has admitted that he doesn’t think he’ll be healthy all year and this groin injury indicates that he’s still well below 100 percent. He missed practice Wednesday and is questionable for a Week 10 date with the Rams.

Tajae Sharpe, Tennessee Titans (Ankle, Questionable)

The Titans could be without both Sharpe and Taywan Taylor (foot) in a Week 10 matchup with the Patriots. Corey Davis would see a bump in targets if either player is out.

Sammy Watkins, Kansas City Chiefs (Foot, Questionable)

Sammy Watkins status is in doubt this Sunday. The Chiefs (-16.5) are massive favorites against the lowly Cardinals and likely won’t need his services to win.

Paul Richardson, Washington Redskins (Shoulder, Out)

Josh Doctson caught a touchdown and Maurice Harris blew up with 10 receptions for 124 yards on Sunday with Paul Richardson (shoulder) done for the year, both can serve as value WRs in another dream matchup against Tampa this week.

Jamison Crowder, Washington Redskins (Ankle, Questionable)

Jamison Crowder returned to a limited practice Thursday and has a chance to play after missing four games. He would cut into Maurice Harris’s workload if active.

Quincy Enunwa, New York Jets (Ankle, Questionable)

Both Quincy Enunwa and Robby Anderson (ankle) returned to action last Sunday, but both are questionable for a Week 10 date against the Bills. Neither WR participated in practice Thursday.

Chad Williams, Arizona Cardinals (Ankle, Questionable)

Cardinals rookie WR Chad Williams is questionable to face the Chiefs this Sunday. Kansas City’s defense has been far better at home, but Larry Fitzgerald and Christian Kirk will be worth a look, especially if Williams sits.

Cam Meredith, New Orleans Saints (Knee, Out)

The Saints placed Cam Meredith on I.R. to make room for free agent acquisition Dez Bryant, who suffered a torn achilles during practice Friday. Rookie WR Tre’Quan Smith is secure as the fourth option in this elite passing game.

Out for Extended Period: Marqise Lee, Mack Hollins, Ted Ginn Jr., Cody Latimer, Mike Wallace, Pharoh Cooper, Bruce Ellington

Tight End

Rob Gronkowski, New England Patriots (Back, Questionable)

Rob Gronkowski has missed two of the Patriots last three games with back and ankle woes. Even if he’s active against Tennessee this Sunday, his reps will likely be limited.

David Njoku, Cleveland Browns (Knee, Ribs, Questionable)

David Njoku is banged up and that may explain his dip in production lately.

Charles Clay, Buffalo BIlls (Hamstring, Out)

Charles Clay will miss a Week 10 date at the Jets with a hamstring pull. His absence opens up more targets for Zay Jones in a low-volume passing attack.

Jordan Reed, Washington Redskins (Back, Questionable)

Jordan Reed has been limited in practice with a back issue. He draws another juicy matchup this week at Tampa, but is hard to trust with his injury history.

Geoff Swaim, Dallas Cowboys (Knee, Questionable)

Geoff Swaim is dealing with a sprained MCL and will likely remain out in Week 10 at the Eagles.

Out for Extended Period: Tyler Eifert, Tyler Kroft, Delanie Walker, Hunter Henry, Jake Butt, Will Dissly

Offensive Line

Matt Paradis, Denver Broncos (Leg, Out)

The Broncos lost their starting center for the season to a broken leg. With star LG Ronald Leary (knee) done for the season and RT Jared Veldheer (knee) dealing with a bone bruise, this is quickly becoming one of the thinnest lines in football.

T.J. Lang, Detroit Lions (Concussion, Questionable)

With T.J. Lang in concussion protocol the Lions offensive line could be in danger of getting Matthew Stafford crushed again. Stafford was sacked 10 times by the Vikings and faces arguably the league’s best pass rush this week in the Bears.

Morgan Moses, Washington Redskins (Concussion, Questionable)

Washington LT Trent Williams (thumb) missed Sunday’s matchup with Atlanta and will likely be out again. Redskins starting guards Shawn Lauvao (knee) and Brandon Scherff (pectoral) both suffered season-ending injuries. If RT Morgan Moses is out as well, Adrian Peterson could struggle in a matchup with Tampa Bay.

D.J. Fluker, Seattle Seahawks (Calf, Questionable)

The Seahawks lost their best guard to a calf injury and will be in trouble against Aaron Donald and the Rams if D.J. Fluker can’t play Sunday.

Laremy Tunsil, Miami Dolphins (Knee, Questionable)

Both Laremy Tunsil and RT Ja’Wuan James suffered knee injuries during the Dolphins win over the Jets and if either starting tackle is out in Week 10, the Packers defense could dominate at home.

Connor Williams, Dallas Cowboys (Knee, Out)

The Cowboys LG will undergo a knee scope and with their season heading downhill, Dallas will hold their No. 50 overall pick out Sunday night at the Eagles. Fletcher Cox should live in the Cowboys’ backfield.

Out for Extended Period: Isaiah Wynn, Ron Leary, Kyle Long, Travis Frederick, Cam Robinson, Jon Halapio, Brandon Fusco, Andy Levitre, Matt Kalil, Daryl Williams, Seantrel Henderson, A.Q. Shipley

Defensive Line

Timmy Jernigan, Philadelphia Eagles (Back, Questionable)

The Eagles elite run defense may get another run-stopping tackle back in Timmy Jernigan. If he’s active, Ezekiel Elliott and the Cowboys rushing attack may struggle on the road.

David Irving, Dallas Cowboys (Ankle, Questionable)

David Irving missed a Monday night tilt against the Titans and could be out Sunday night when the Cowboys visit the Eagles. The Cowboys are also listing DE Randy Gregory (knee) as questionable.

Out for Extended Period: Joey Bosa, Carl Lawson, Vincent Taylor, William Hayes, Muhammad Wilkerson, Marcus Davenport, Ryan Glasnow, Vita Vea, Tyquan Lewis

Khalil Mack, Chicago Bears (Ankle, Questionable)

Khalil Mack returned to practice Wednesday and has a chance to return Sunday to face the Lions porous offensive line.

Sean Lee, Dallas Cowboys (Hamstring, Out)

Sean Lee aggravated the same hamstring that’s bothered him all season and will miss 4-6 weeks. Solid rookie Leighton Vander Esch will fill in.

Anthony Hitchens, Kansas City Chiefs (Ribs, Questionable)

Chiefs elite pass rusher Justin Houston (hamstring) remains out and the Chiefs will be hope ILB Anthony Hitchens returns in Week 10 to face the lowly Cardinals.

Out for Extended Period: Jake Ryan, Deion Jones, Dominique Easley, Kyzir White, Josh Martin

Defensive Backs

Darius Slay, Detroit Lions (Knee, Out)

The Lions will be without their top CB in Week 10 at the Bears, which is great news for Allen Robinson.

Denzel Ward, Cleveland Browns (Hip, Questionable)

Even if active, Denzel Ward will be hard pressed to stop Julio Jones at less than full strength. The Browns will also be without No. 2 CB E.J. Gaines (concussion) the rest of the year.

A.J. Bouye, Jacksonville Jaguars (Calf, Out)

The Jaguars No. 2 CB will be out Sunday at the Colts. Expect Jalen Ramsey to shadow T.Y. Hilton, forcing more targets to Andrew Luck’s TE duo of Eric Ebron and Jack Doyle.

Robert Alford, Atlanta Falcons (Ankle, Questionable)

With Robert Alford out, the Falcons were torched by Josh Doctson and backup WR Maurice Harris. Baker Mayfield and the Browns receivers could benefit if Alford misses Sunday’s game.

Quinton Dunbar, Washington Redskins (Shin, Questionable)

The Redskins’ LCB departed Sunday’s loss to Atlanta and the Redskins will be in trouble against Tampa Bay this week if he can’t play. Adam Humphries and DeSean Jackson stand to benefit most.

Trumaine Johnson, New York Jets (Quad, Questionable)

The Jets defense is playing well without top CB Trumaine Johnson and should have no trouble shutting down the Bills at home this Sunday.

Eric Reid, Carolina Panthers (Shoulder, Questionable)

Eric Reid gutted out a shoulder injury in Sunday’s win over Tampa and will try to get ready for Pittsburgh Thursday night. If he’s out, JuJu Smith-Schuster and the Steelers pass offense will benefit.

Out for Extended Period: Jason Verrett, Eric Berry, Patrick Robinson, Vernon Hargreaves, Ross Cockrell, Phillip Gaines, Byron Maxwell, Ricardo Allen, Keanu Neal

Matt Bryant, Atlanta Falcons (Hamstring, Questionable)

If Matt Bryant is out again this week, Giorgio Tavecchio will kick for the Falcons.
