MLB DFS DraftKings.com & FanDuel.com Lineups & Picks for June 25, 2018

There are 10 games on the main MLB DFS slate for Monday, 6/25/18. Below is a list of our best MLB DFS picks for pitchers, hitters, and stacks to target in Cash and GPP lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel. The info below can also be used for creating your daily fantasy baseball strategy at FantasyDraft.

Please note the advice below is relevant for daily fantasy purposes. A player or team might be better or worse from a fantasy perspective than in real life due to matchup, price, and lots of other factors. This is important to consider when constructing a roster. Remember that more than in other sports, variance is a critical part of baseball. Even Mike Trout can go 0-for-4 on a given night, and Max Scherzer can get lit up by an unsuspecting team.

Weather can also play a huge role in MLB DFS on a nightly basis, and lineups are constantly shifting. So always, always check the starting lineups and weather reports when playing an MLB slate.

Best MLB DFS Pitchers for June 25, 2018

Cole Hamels vs. SD ($9.9 DK / $8.9 FD)

Cole Hamels is a bit of a salary savor on whichever site you decide to play on this evening. He has his issues keeping the ball in the park, but he’s racked up 92 strikeouts over 92 innings. He’s also pitching against the San Diego Padres who have the highest strikeout rate in the Majors. They also strikeout 25 percent of the time against lefties and enter with a .228 wOBA over the last two weeks. Hamels has allowed two or fewer runs in eight of his last 10 starts and his Rangers have won seven of their last eight games.

Justin Verlander vs. TOR ($13.3 DK / $11.7 FD)

Justin Verlander has the highest projected point total by far on RotoQL which makes total sense. Verlander has a 10.93 K/9, 1.77 BB/9 and 1.60 ERA. There’s a case for fading him in tournaments due to his price and his counterpart J.A. Happ has been great this season, but overall he’s a strong cash play. The Astros’ ace hasn’t allowed more than three runs in a start all season and opponents are hitting .153 against him at home.

Jonathan Loaisiga @ PHI ($7.3 DK / $6.4 FD)

It’s certainly a bit of a risk to roll out Jonathan Loaisiga in cash, but he’s worth a play in tournaments in you’re looking for a second pitcher on a site like DraftKings. He’s only had two starts, and he’s walked six while allowing three runs over 8.2 innings. The rookie piled up 10 strikeouts in those two starts, though, and has shown great K-upside throughout the minors. Loaisiga punched out 58 batters over 45 minor league innings this season, including 32 in 25 AA innings before his call up. New York has a high powered offense that could give him some run support and Philadelphia’s 25.5 strikeout rate is the third highest.

Others to consider: Blake Snell (GPP) – WSH ranks 26th in runs last 30 days and 29th last two weeks. Mike Foltynewicz (GPP) – 94 K in 79 IP and has allowed two or fewer runs in 12 of 13 starts.

Best MLB DFS Hitters for June 25, 2018

Ryon Healy @ BAL ($4.1 DK / $2.8 FD)

Andrew Cashner’s contact rate is sitting at 82 percent, which is exactly his career mark and the eighth highest among qualified arms this season. His hard hit rate is at 30.6 percent and he has a 24.9 line drive rate. The Orioles’ pitcher has surrendered 13 home runs this season and has a 5.22 ERA at home. Nelson Cruz has a ridiculous eight home runs over the last two weeks and Ryon Healy is right behind him with five. Healy has hits in five straight games and hit in the cleanup spot yesterday with Jean Segura sidelined. Healy’s price on FanDuel has not caught up yet.

Adrian Beltre vs. SD ($4.3 DK / $3.3 FD)

Joey Lucchesi has cooled off considerably since the start of the season. The lefty has allowed a home run in six straight games and a total of nine over that span. Lucchesi has a 39.3 hard hit rate for the season and couldn’t make it out of the second inning in his last start. Shin-soo Choo continues to get on base (.340 average last two weeks), and he’s setting the table for Adrian Beltre and Nomar Mazara (six homers vs. LHP). Beltre leads the Rangers with a .350 average against lefties and is a steal on FanDuel yet again.

Ketel Marte @ MIA ($3.8 DK / $3.3 FD)

Ketel Marte is showing up as one of the better values, according to RotoQL. In fact, most of the Arizona hitters are due to Dan Straily getting the call for Miami. Straily is walking 4.89 batters per nine innings, has a 4.89 ERA and has allowed 16 runs over his last 20 innings. He’s given up five homers and eight walks over his last four outings.

Derek Dietrich vs. ARI ($3.8 DK / $3.1 FD)

Derek Dietrich is showing up in just about every one of my optimized lineups on RotoQL. It certainly may have something to do with his wicked weekend in Colorado where he finished with eight hits and homered in all three games. Coors is certainly a hitter friendly park, and the same can’t be said about his ball park in Miami, but he does have five multi-hit games in his last six starts. He’s also hitting a solid .302 on the season and continues to hit in the leadoff spot for the Marlins. Shelby Miller is making his first big league start in 14 months after undergoing Tommy John surgery last April. He walked a lot of guys and gave up a lot of homers before the injury.

Others to consider: J.T. Realmuto, Yan Gomes, Freddie Freeman, Justin Bour, Josh Harrison, Rougned Odor, Kyle Seager, Jake Lamb, Kike Hernandez, Elvis Andrus, Nelson Cruz, Nick Markakis, Michael Brantley, Shin-soo Choo
