MLB DFS DraftKings.com & FanDuel.com Lineups & Picks for June 18, 2018
There are nine games on the main MLB DFS slate for Monday, 6/18/18. Below is a list of our top MLB DFS picks for pitchers, hitters, and stacks to target in Cash and GPP lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel. The info below can also be used for creating your daily fantasy baseball strategy at FantasyDraft.
Please note the advice below is relevant for daily fantasy purposes. A player or team might be better or worse from a fantasy perspective than in real life due to matchup, price, and lots of other factors. This is important to consider when constructing a roster. Remember that more than in other sports, variance is a huge part of baseball. Even Mike Trout can go 0-for-4 on a given night, and Max Scherzer can get lit up by an unsuspecting team.
Weather can also play a huge role in MLB DFS on a nightly basis, and lineups are constantly shifting. So always, always check the starting lineups and weather reports when playing an MLB slate.

Best MLB DFS Pitchers for June 18, 2018
Trevor Bauer vs. CWS ($12.4 DK / $11.2 FD)
There’s really no reason not to go back to Trevor Bauer again as he matches up against the White Sox for the second straight start. Bauer allowed only four hits and three runs over 7.2 innings while striking out 12 batters on his way to 31.7 DraftKings points. He was pretty much perfect until the seventh inning. The righty has hit the double-digit strikeout mark in four straight games, and Chicago enters with the second highest strikeout percentage (25.5%) and third lowest contact rate (74.5%). The Cleveland pitcher has the fifth-highest K/9 (11.63) and eighth-highest strikeout percentage (31.3%).
Gerrit Cole vs. TB ($13.0 DK / $11.0 FD)
Gerrit Cole will break the bank, but he’s the safest pitcher on the board. His 36.7 strikeout percentage and 12.49 K/9 are second to only Max Scherzer. Cole has a sparkling 2.40 ERA, and his Astros have won 11 straight games. The Rays rank 25th in runs and 27th in ISO.
Jacob deGrom @ COL ($11.2 DK / $9.0 FD)
You may be able to get Jacob deGrom at a low ownership in tournaments because he’s playing at Coors Field. It’s always scary rolling out a pitcher with such a high price tag in Colorado, but the Rockies have struggled against right-handed pitchers. Their .303 wOBA ranks 23rd, and they have a top 10 K-rate. deGrom’s 11.65 K/9 and 32.8 K% ranks fourth. He has a 1.55 ERA and has allowed one or zero runs in 11 of his 14 starts, including nine of his last 10 outings.
Others to consider: Miles Mikolas, Zack Greinke

Best MLB DFS Hitters for June 18, 2018
Mike Moustakas vs. TEX ($3.9 DK / $3.9 FD)
Anytime Bartolo Colon takes the mound you should always try and get as many batters against him as you can, even if it’s the Kansas City Royals. Colon’s 87.8 contact percentage is the highest among qualified arms, and he’s allowed a league high 19 home runs. Colon has given up six homers in his last three starts and 10 in his last five. On top of that, his 44.9% hard hit rate is the third highest. Mike Moustakas has 13 home runs on the season including 11 against right-handed pitchers in which he also has a 49.4% hard hit rate.
Jurickson Profar @ KC ($3.9 DK / $3.5 FD)
From Colon to Ian Kennedy — there may be a few runs in this Texas and Kansas City game. Kennedy has a 38.6 hard hit rate, 28.4 line drive percentage, 41.5 fly ball rate and has allowed 12 home runs. His 79 home runs allowed since the start of 2016 are the most in baseball. He also ranks inside the top 20 in hits and runs allowed this season. The Rangers have scored 22 runs in their last three games, and Jurickson Profar enters with a five-game hit streak with eight RBI over that span. Profar leads Texas with five homers over the last two weeks and is one of the better values, according to RotoQL.
Asdrubal Cabrera @ COL ($4.3 DK / $3.3 FD)
Asdrubal Cabrera hit .392 against left-handed pitchers last season, and he has three homers with a .270 average against them this year. He hit his 12th homer of the season last night and continues to bat in the No. 2 spot for the Mets. Then, the opposing Tyler Anderson has a 40.8 fly ball rate, which has resulted in 12 home runs. He also has a 24.3 line drive percentage, and his ERA at home is 5.14. Cabrera’s fantasy point projection on DK and FD is the third highest at the 2B position, according to RotoQL.
Andrew McCutchen vs. MIA ($4.3 DK / $3.7 FD)
Andrew McCutchen leads the Giants with 12 extra base hits against LHPs this season, three of which have been home runs. One of those homers came against Caleb Smith last week, who he’ll face tonight. Smith’s 50.3 fly ball rate is the fourth highest in the Majors. He also has a 37 percent hard hit rate and 22.3 line drive rate. McCutchen is hitting .275 against lefties this season, and he hit .336 against them last season with 11 homers.
