MLB DFS DraftKings.com & FanDuel.com Lineups & Picks for June 11, 2018
There are eight games on the main MLB DFS slate for Monday, 6/11/18. Below is a list of our top MLB DFS picks for pitchers, hitters, and stacks to target in Cash and GPP lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel. The info below can also be used for creating your daily fantasy baseball strategy at FantasyDraft.
Please note the advice below is relevant for daily fantasy purposes. A player or team might be better or worse from a fantasy perspective than in real life due to matchup, price, and lots of other factors. This is important to consider when constructing a roster. Remember that more than in other sports, variance is a huge part of baseball. Even Mike Trout can go 0-for-4 on a given night, and Max Scherzer can get lit up by an unsuspecting team.
Weather can also play a huge role in MLB DFS on a nightly basis, and lineups are constantly shifting. So always, always check the starting lineups and weather reports when playing an MLB slate.

Best MLB DFS Pitchers for June 11, 2018
Madison Bumgarner @ MIA ($10.4 DK / $8.8 FD)
Madison Bumgarner threw 58 of his 82 pitches for strikes in first start of the season last week, and he allowed only two runs over six innings against the Diamondbacks. This outings against the Miami Marlins should be a bit easier for Bumgarner. He may be able to go a bit deeper in the game. Miami has a .301 wOBA vs. LHPs, and they rank dead last in runs scored overall.
Carlos Carrasco @ CWS ($10.7 DK / $9.7 FD)
Carlos Carrasco has allowed three or fewer runs in eight of his 13 starts this season. Carrasco’s seen his K/9 drop from 10.17 last season to 9.0 this year, but he still has the strikeout upside to win you a tournament. Chicago’s 25.1 percent strikeout rate is the fourth highest. They also lost all three of their games against Cleveland earlier this season. Carrasco has an impressive 72.7 percent contact rate, and the White Sox’s 74.6 percent contact rate is the third lowest.
Jack Flaherty vs. SD ($8.3 DK / $7.7 FD)
The Padres enter with the third-highest strikeout rate (25.5%), seventh-lowest average, and third-worst wOBA. Those are reasons enough to play Jack Flaherty in tournaments despite his struggles of late. Flaherty has a solid 9.61 K/9, 11.1 SwStr%, 75.6 contact percentage and 3.20 ERA.
Others to consider: Jose Quintana, Dylan Bundy (GPP)

Best MLB DFS Hitters for June 11, 2018
Lorenzo Cain vs. CHI ($4.2 DK / $3.7 FD)
Lorenzo Cain is a decent play in lineups where you fade Jose Quintana. The Brewers’ OF has the fifth-best average (.391) against left-handed pitching, and his .479 wOBA ranks ninth. He’s also hitting .308 against lefties for his career.
Michael Brantley @ CWS ($4.8 DK / $4.3 FD)
They are an expensive stack, but the Indians are a very good one, considering Lucas Giolito has a 7.08 ERA and 5.75 BB/9 rate. Giolito is striking out only 4.57 batters per nine innings and was rocked (five runs on nine hits) against Cleveland two outings ago. Francisco Lindor is worth every penny and so is Michael Brantley. He took Giolito deep the last time he saw him. Yonder Alonso is also worth a look and is one of the better values, according to RotoQL.
Rafael Devers @ BAL ($3.4 DK / $2.9 FD)
Dylan Bundy has strikeout upside, but he’s allowed the third-most home runs (16) due to his 48 percent fly ball rate. One of those bombs came against Rafael Devers, who will save you a few bucks tonight. Devers has a 39.2 percent fly ball rate and 39.7 hard hit rate against right-handed pitching.
Brandon Crawford @ MIA ($4.0 DK / $3.1 FD)
Brandon Crawford’s 26 hits against lefties are the 12th-most in baseball, and it’s led to a .329 average. He’s a great pivot off some of the more expensive shortstops at the top of the board. Wei-Yin Chen’s 47 percent fly ball rate and 82 percent contact rate have given way to eight homers over 35.1 innings. He also enters with a 4.59 BB/9 and 5.86 ERA.
Yangervis Solarte @ TB ($3.6 DK / $3.2 FD)
Yangervis Solarte is showing up in a lot of my RotoQL optimized lineups due to his price and matchup against Ryan Yarbrough. The Rays’ lefty has an 83.4 percent contact rate, and Solarte has six homers off LHPs this season.
Others to consider: Buster Posey, Yadier Molina, Edwin Encarnacion (make sure he plays), Anthony Rizzo, Mitch Moreland, Ian Kinsler, Matt Carpenter, Jose Ramirez, Jonathan Schoop, Jean Segura, J.D. Martinez (19 HR vs. RHP), Marcell Ozuna, Nelson Cruz
