Best MLB DFS Pitchers for June 6, 2018
Jack Flaherty vs. MIA ($10.2 DK / $7.8 FD)
Jack Flaherty has allowed three or fewer runs in all six of his starts this season and only one in four of his outings. He comes in with a 2.62 ERA and 9.44 K/9. Flaherty had an outstanding 11.65 K/9 over 31.2 AAA innings before his call up. The Marlins rank dead last in wOBA and runs.
Jose Quintana vs. PHI ($8.8 DK / $8.5 FD)
Jose Quintana is starting to get in a bit of a groove. He’s had two scoreless outings over his last three starts and five in his last 10. The Phillies have the second-highest strikeout rate and have scored two or fewer runs in five of their last six games. They only mustered one run in their last series against the Giants. Philly has the seventh-lowest wOBA (.305) and fifth-lowest average (.233). They also rank in the bottom seven in both categories against lefties this season.
Jon Gray @ CIN ($7.5 DK / $7.3 FD)
Most are afraid to roll out Jon Gray due to his inconsistencies, which has resulted in a 5.68 ERA. He’s been one of the unluckiest pitchers this season, though, due to a high BABIP. Gray’s xFIP is 3.15, so he’s due for some positive regression. Even with the rocky start to the season, Gray supports a 10.52 K/9 and this is a winnable matchup. You may get him low owned in tournaments, and he has the upside to win you one. Gray’s 12.7 SwStr% is the highest of any qualified arm going this evening.

Best MLB DFS Hitters for June 6, 2018
Carlos Gonzalez @ CIN ($4.0 DK / $2.7 FD)
Carlos Gonzalez has five multi-hit games in his last seven starts and is fresh off a three-hit, four-RBI game where he went deep. All six of Cargo’s home runs have come off right-handed pitchers this season, and Sal Romano has allowed 11 homers so far. He has a 4.35 BB/9 and 6.00 ERA thanks to the second highest contact rate (86.4%) in baseball. Gonzalez is an absolute steal on FanDuel.
Matt Olson @ TEX ($4.4 DK / $3.6 FD)
Bartolo Colon has the highest contact percentage (86.9) in the majors, and he’s allowed 15 home runs so far this season. Khris Davis has 11 bombs against right-handed pitchers this season, but Matt Olson has 10 and will save you a bit of cash.
Jedd Gyorko vs. MIA ($3.8 DK / $2.6 FD)
Jedd Gyorko is hitting .409 with three home runs against LHPs this season. The Cardinals are showing up as a great stack on RotoQL due to the matchup against lefty Wei-Yin Chen. The Marlins pitcher is only striking out 6.97 per nine while walking 4.65 per nine. He also has a 6.10 ERA and has allowed eight homers over his 31.0 innings. Chen enters with a 81.3 contact percentage.
Ian Kinsler vs. KC ($3.5 DK / $2.9 FD)
RotoQL says Ian Kinsler is one of the better values tonight, especially on FanDuel. Kinsler continues to leadoff for the Angels, and this is a plus matchup against Ian Kennedy, who has allowed eight home runs in his last five starts. He’s allowed 12 home runs this year and 30 plus in three straight seasons due to his 42.1 fly ball rate for his career. Kennedy has the eighth-highest hard hit rate (41.2%) among qualified arms.
