MLB DFS DraftKings.com & FanDuel.com Lineups & Picks for June 4, 2018
There are only four games on the main MLB DFS slate for Monday, 6/4/18. Below is a list of our top MLB DFS picks for pitchers, hitters, and stacks to target in Cash and GPP lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel. The info below can also be used for creating your daily fantasy baseball strategy at FantasyDraft.
Please note the advice below is relevant for daily fantasy purposes. A player or team might be better or worse from a fantasy perspective than in real life due to matchup, price, and lots of other factors. This is important to consider when constructing a roster. Remember that more than in other sports, variance is a huge part of baseball. Even Mike Trout can go 0-for-4 on a given night, and Max Scherzer can get lit up by an unsuspecting team.
Weather can also play a huge role in MLB DFS on a nightly basis, and lineups are constantly shifting. So always, always check the starting lineups and weather reports when playing an MLB slate. **Several potential weather spots tonight, so keep an eye on the forecasts!**

Best MLB DFS Pitchers for June 4, 2018
Julio Teheran @ SD ($9.8 DK / $7.6 FD)
The Padres enter with the third-highest strikeout rate (25.7%), seventh-fewest runs, second-worst wOBA (.290), and fifth-worst average (.231). Julio Teheran may be a popular play in tournaments, but there are only four games to work with, and this is the best matchup of the night despite his struggles of late. As you’ll see below, the Braves crush lefties. Thus, it’s likely Teheran will pick up a win.
Domingo German @ DET ($8.7 DK / $6.6 FD)
Domingo German is scheduled to start the second game of Monday’s doubleheader against the Tigers. German has a solid 10.64 K/9 over 34 innings out of the pen and as a starter. He’s racked up 23 strikeouts in his last four outings (21.1 IP), which were all starts. The 25-year-old has struggled with the home runs and walks, but so has his counterpart Mike Fiers.
Others to consider: Zack Godley

Best MLB DFS Hitters for June 4, 2018
Nick Markakis @ SD ($4.5 DK / $3.4 FD)
The Braves have a league-high .279 average and .348 wOBA against left-handed pitching this season. Their 25 home runs rank third, and they have the lowest strikeout rate (17%) against southpaws. Freddie Freeman and Ozzie Albies lead the way with five homers each off lefties, but Nick Markakis has three bombs and 10 extra base hits. He also has a solid .345 average and .403 wOBA against LHPs. His 76 hits overall are tied for the third most in baseball. You also have to love how he continues to hit in the cleanup spot for Atlanta as well as his price tag on FanDuel.
John Ryan Murphy @ SF ($3.7 DK / $2.6 FD)
Arizona’s 27 home runs against lefties are tied for the most in the league, and John Ryan Murphy has five of them. He has eight homers on the season. Three have come over his last four games. In fact, JRM has homered in five of his last eight games. Murphy is hitting .361 against LHPs, and Derek Holland has allowed nine home runs this season after allowing 31 in 2017. He also has an extremely high fly ball rate (43.3%) and contact percentage (82.3%).
Ian Kinsler vs KC ($3.9 DK / $2.8 FD)
Ian Kinsler checks in as one of the better values, according to RotoQL. He’s also playing some of his better baseball of the season with hits in six of his last seven games, which includes four multi-hit games over that span. The Angels’ leadoff man also has three home runs during this stretch. Kinsler has a career .301 average against lefties, and Danny Duffy has struggled for most of the season: 14 home runs, 4.31 BB/9, 5.71 ERA, and 44.3 fly ball rate.
Greg Bird @ DET ($4.0 DK / $3.4 FD)
Greg Bird is showing up in plenty of my optimized lineups on RotoQL and for good reason. Bird has hit in the three spot in three of his last four games and is extremely affordable in a good matchup. Mike Fiers has allowed 11 home runs this season and at least one in seven of his 10 starts. He has a 81.8 contact percentage and 44 percent fly ball rate, which matches up well with Bird’s 50.2% career fly ball rate.
Others to consider: Tyler Flowers, Freddie Freeman, Paul Goldschmidt, Ozzie Albies, Jake Lamb, Luis Valbuena, Didi Gregorius, Andrelton Simmons, Mike Trout, Brett Gardner, Jon Jay, Ender Inciarte
