College Football Daily Fantasy Value Picks 10/11

Written By PlayPicks Staff on October 9, 2014 - Last Updated on June 20, 2018

At the end of game day, every point counts. The college football daily fantasy value picks below may not be the best players; in some cases they may not even be the second best player, but they might just give you an edge on Saturday and for a good price point too! These are the players to throw in when you only have a few thousand fantasy dollars left and are looking to fill a position with a player that still has upside. All prices are shown using FanDuel pricing and whether it is an early or late matchup is indicated. Below are 6 of this week’s players who have been playing well, have a desirable match-up this week and that I believe are worth consideration for those final value slots on your team.

RB – Jon Hillman – Boston College – $5,900 (Early)

Jon Hilliman has been a beast for the Golden Eagles the past 3 weeks! He is averaging over 20 carries per game and 105 yards per game in that span. He has gotten into the endzone twice in each game as well. Look for Hilliman to run over the 77th ranked rushing defense in North Carolina St. for another 100+ day and 2 touchdowns.

RB – Jacobi Owens – Air Force – $5,900 (Late)

Owens is the head of Air Force’s rushing attack, making them number ten in the country. He is averaging 123 yards and 23 carries per game this season. He leads the team in rushing touchdowns with 4 on the season. His upside is limited since he will be facing a very good defense from Utah State, but he is expected to still get his touches throughout the game.

WR – Corey Robinson – Notre Dame – $5,500 (Early)

Robinson is the number 2 wide receiver on a Notre Dame team which is facing the 121st ranked North Carolina passing defense this Saturday. North Carolina is allowing 320 yards per game through the air this season so far. If you can spend the money and get Notre Dame’s number 1 wide out William Fuller do it; but he will set you back $6,700. Robinson will still get plenty of looks against such a poor defense and have a very solid day at a reduced price.

WR – Bryce Treggs – California – $5,900 (Late)

Bryce Treggs is the number 1 wide receiver on the number 3 passing offense in the country. He leads the Golden Bears in receptions, yards, and touchdowns on the year. California is facing Washington who is currently ranked 102nd in passing yards allowed; giving up 270 per game. Last week Treggs had 10 receptions for 120 yards and a touchdown. I expect him to get numbers like that again this week.

TE – E.J. Bibbs – Iowa State – $4,400 (Early)

Bibbs is a big 6’4” 264 pound tight end who is having a solid year with a below average team. He is second on the Cyclones in receptions and first in receiving touchdowns. Last week Bibbs had 6 receptions for 70 yards and 2 touchdowns. I expect that result to hold when he faces the 122nd ranked pass defense, Toledo, this weekend. Bibbs is a must play at the tight end position this week in the early games.

TE – Jarred Gipson – Nevada – $3,600 (Late)

Nevada is a team that relies on their running game, but Gipson as a tight end is leading his team in receptions and receiving touchdowns. Last week he had 6 catches for 76 yards and 2 touchdowns. Look for them to feed Gipson the ball on passing downs this week and find him in the redzone.
