Best NBA DFS Picks for December 30, 2017
Guards
Courtney Lee @ NOP (DraftKings 5.2k, FanDuel 5.6k)
Courtney Lee has stepped up in a big way since Tim Hardaway has been sidelined with an injury. In the last three games, he’s played over 35 minutes and scored at least 18 points. Lee has hit at least two threes in the last five games and the swingman is shooting 43% from behind the arc. In the month of December, #5 is averaging 15 points and just under one steal a game. He’s a great addition because of the minutes he plays a game (32.4 MPG) and his ability to knock down the three ball
Shabazz Napier @ ATL (5k DraftKings, 4.8k FanDuel)
The Portland Trailblazers aren’t the same team without Damian Lillard but Shabazz Napier has been a great replacement. Lillard’s status is uncertain but what is certain is that Napier can score the ball. The former UConn Husky has scored over 20 points the past two games and he’s played over 37 minutes in the last three games. Napier is shooting over 44% from three-point land and he’ll be a bargain deal for your DFS lineup.
Wil Barton vs. PHI (6k DraftKings, 6.2k FanDuel)
The Denver Nuggets are explosive and Will Barton is always an intriguing player to have in your lineup. Barton dropped 28 points last game and he isn’t afraid to shoot the rock. This game will be high scoring as both teams average over 105 points a contest. The 26-year-old shoots five threes a game and hits just under two a contest. He was 4-8 last game against the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Others to consider: Ben Simmons, Eric Bledsoe, Dwyane Wade, Malcolm Brogdon

Forwards
Aaron Gordon vs. MIA (7.3k DraftKings, 7.5k FanDuel)
The Magic struggled without Aaron Gordon but the former dunk champ is back from a concussion and scored 14 points in his first game back. He dropped 14 points and ripped down 9 rebounds in his one game against the Miami Heat. Gordon should be able to take advantage of tired legs as the Heat will be on the second night of a back-to-back. Gordon is averaging just over two threes a game while tallying one steal and block a contest.
Kevin Love @ UTA (8.5k DraftKings, 8k FanDuel)
Kevin Love has arguably been playing his best basketball since he joined the Cleveland Cavaliers. He’s found a groove this year, averaging a double-double (20.2 points, 10.2 rebounds). He’s shooting 42% from three and 88% from the free throw line. The former Bruin has been dominant in the last five contests, averaging 25.4 points and 9.8 boards. Love’s hit 23 threes in that five game stretch.
Jordan Bell vs. MEM (4.7k DraftKings, 4.9k FanDuel)
Jordan Bell isn’t a household name but he’s started seven of the past eight games for the Golden State Warriors. He’s played at least 22 minutes in the last five contests while average just over eight points and eight rebounds. Bell will be a cheap add to your lineup and most of his points come in transition or off lobs so his field goal percentage is very high (68.3%).
Others to Consider: Rodney Hood, Trey Lyles, Dario Saric, Stanley Johnson

Centers
Enes Kanter @ NOP (6.2k DraftKings, 6.1k FanDuel)
Enes Kanter is a great pick for tonight because he’ll have to play a ton matching up against the Pelicans bigs. He had a huge Christmas Day game, going for 31 points and 22 rebounds. The Turkish big man is averaging 13.7 points and 10.3 rebounds. Kanter’s collected 10 double-doubles this season and Kanter could feast on the New Orleans defence who give up 110.9 points a contest.
Marc Gasol @ GSW (8k DraftKings, 8.5k FanDuel)
The Golden State Warriors have been owned by Marc Gasol this year. In two games against Dub Nation, he’s averaging 27.5 points and 11.5 rebounds. The Warriors have trouble matching up with the big man. Gasol’s recorded two double-doubles and scored at least double figures in the last five contests. Gasol is a must have in your lineup tonight.
Others to Consider: Hassan Whiteside, Draymond Green, Derrick Favors, Jusuf Nurkic
