Best Week 17 NFL DFS Stack Picks on FanDuel
Matthew Stafford/Marvin Jones Jr./Eric Ebron vs. GB ($7.8k, $7.3k and $5.6k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
Matthew Stafford’s price tag is down after a few weeks of modest production, but Jim Caldwell doesn’t appear concerned with his bruised hand and said he plans to play all his starters in a meaningless season finale. That bodes well for the Lions’ aggressive attitude in a home game against an injury-plagued Green Bay team. The Packers have struggled against the pass all year, coughing up the fifth-most passing TDs (27) and allowing the third-highest passer rating (99.7) in the NFL. The Packers rank 31st in DVOA against the opposition’s top target. Therefore, Marvin Jones Jr. has plenty of upside on the outside, and Eric Ebron, who is coming on strong at the end of the season, faces a team that’s given up the third-most FPPG to opposing TEs over the last month.

Philip Rivers/Keenan Allen vs. OAK ($8.3k and $8.6k FanDuel) – GPP
The Chargers will have to depend on their passing game with Melvin Gordon (ankle) headed for a true game-time decision this week. The Chargers need a win and a Tennessee loss to make the playoffs. Consequently, they’ll be going all out in sunny California. Keenan Allen should be able to roast the slower Raiders corners. Philip Rivers has only really seen his production spike when Allen gets it going. Thus, the two are worth deploying together against a Raiders team that ranks dead last in passing DVOA.
Kirk Cousins/Jamison Crowder/Vernon Davis @ NYG ($7.6k, $7.0k and $5.8k FanDuel) – GPP
Washington and New York are only playing for pride, but Kirk Cousins has always seemed concerned with his numbers and potentially earning a big contract to play elsewhere. Expect him to sling it all over the field against a team that’s coughed up the most passing TDs (32) this season. The G-Men have been particularly vulnerable over the middle of the field, where Jamison Crowder torched them for 141 yards and a TD on Thanksgiving. Vernon Davis came alive with 42 yards and a TD against the Broncos last week. He clearly draws a superior matchup this Sunday. On that note, New York has given up the most FPPG and TDs (14) to opposing TEs this season. Receiving back Kapri Bibbs ($5.4k) is also worth a look as a potential cheap pairing with Cousins.
Dion Lewis/Patriots D/ST vs. NYJ ($7.2k and $5.1k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
The Jets only managed seven points in a sleepy loss to the Chargers last week. They could be packing it in for the offseason. With inexperienced QB Bryce Petty making the decisions, Bill Belichick’s well-coached defense should be able to produce a few turnovers and sacks. Meanwhile, New England’s offense should control the clock and wrap up the AFC’s top seed. Dion Lewis flashed surprising upside with a rushing and receiving TD against the Bills last week. He’ll see close to workhorse usage once again if Rex Burkhead (knee) and James White (ankle) are both inactive.

LeSean McCoy/Bills D/ST @ MIA ($8.2k and $4.5k FanDuel) – GPP
While the Bills are far less reliable on the road, they’re in a must-win situation (and need help) if they want to make the playoffs. And the Dolphins appear to have peaked with their upset of the Patriots in Week 14. Buffalo’s defense recorded three sacks and three interceptions in a win over Miami the following week and even managed a pick six against Tom Brady last Sunday. Suffice to say, this unit has some upside. LeSean McCoy remains a strong play against a Dolphins team that’s given up the fifth-most FPPG and fourth-most receptions (6.13) to opposing RBs this season.
Leonard Fournette/Jaguars D/ST @ TEN ($7.9k, $5.3k FanDuel) – GPP
Apparently, Jaguars HC Doug Marrone has no plans to rest his starters despite his team being locked into playoff position. Jacksonville may relish the opportunity to knock a divisional rival out of the playoffs by winning at Tennessee. The best defense in the league is a bit under-priced ahead of a juicy matchup with Marcus Mariota (knee) and DeMarco Murray (knee) both hobbled for the Titans. Leonard Fournette might see his reps limited, so he’s definitely more of a tournament play. Still, he could pay off with a couple of short TDs. The Jags’ defense is the real draw here at a slight discount. Monitor this until Sunday as we may get an indication from beat writers as to how much Fournette will be on the field. This is a low buy-in, large field GPP play only.
