Best NHL DFS Picks for December 14, 2017

NHL DFS Centers

Brayden Point @ ARI (5.9k DraftKings, 5.8k FanDuel)
The Tampa Bay Lightning are one of the scariest teams in the league, and Brayden Point is on fire. Point’s scored in four straight games and has tallied seven points in the last five. He’s totaled 13 goals and 15 assists this season and has produced five points on the power play. The 21-year-old is dangerous when Tampa Bay has to kill a penalty, collecting two goals and one assist in that context. He’s also sniped five game-winning goals this season.

Nazem Kadri vs. MIN (6k DraftKings, 5.6k FanDuel)
Times have been tough recently for Nazem Kadri, failing to record a point in the last five games. The Toronto Maple Leafs are without Auston Matthews tonight, so it could be the perfect time for Kadri to break out of a slump. Kadri’s produced 13 goals and 12 assists this season in 32 games. The former London Knight has tallied three goals and four assists on the power play. Last time the Leafs faced the Minnesota Wild, Kadri was able to pot one.

Kyle Turris @ EDM (5.7k DraftKings, 5.6k FanDuel)
Kyle Turris has been superb for the Nashville Predators since the blockbuster trade that also involved Matt Duchene. Turris has collected one goal and six assists in the last five game contests, plus six goals and 17 assists this year. He is on the first line and centers the first team power play unit. The 28-year-old has contributed four goals and eight assists on the power play this season.

Others to consider: Jack Eichel, Ryan Getzlaf, Mathew Barzal

NHL DFS Wingers

Max Pacioretty vs. NJD (6.5k DraftKings, 6.7k FanDuel)
Max Pacioretty struggled to start the season, but he’s been producing as of late. He’s recorded one goal and three assists in the last five games. On the season, Pacioretty’s produced eight goals and 10 assists, plus two goals and five assists on the power play. The American winger has fired 124 shots on goal this season.

Joe Pavelski @ CGY  (5.8k DraftKings, 6.8k FanDuel)
Some teams have players who seem to have been there forever. Joe Pavelski is one of those guys for the San Jose Sharks. He’s recorded six goals and 11 assists this season, including one goal and four helpers when the Sharks have the man advantage. The 11-year vet has produced four points and 14 shots on net in the last five contests.

Brandon Saad @ WPG (5.6k DraftKings, 5.7k FanDuel)
Brandon Saad is back in Chicago, and he’s had a decent start to the season. He is on the first line and has tallied 11 goals and six assists this year. Amazingly, six of his goals were game-winners. Saad’s produced one goal and two assists in the last five games.

Others to consider: James Neal, Mikael Granlund, Reilly Smith

NHL DFS Defensemen

Colton Parayko vs. ANA (5.5k DraftKings, 5.2k FanDuel)
Colton Parayko is going to get more minutes because of the injury to Alex Pietrangelo, and that means he should be in your DFS lineup. He’s tallied three goals and 14 assists this season and has dished out four helpers on the power play. Pietrangelo logged an assist the last time the Blues squared off with Anaheim.

Josh Morrissey @ CHI (3.3k DraftKings, 3.9k FanDuel)
Everyone on the Winnipeg Jets will have to step up due the injury to Dustin Byfuglien. They’ll lean on Josh Morrissey to fill the void. He’s produced four goals and 11 assists this season, plus a goal and an assist in the past two games. Morrissey’s fired 41 shots on net and blocked 61 this season.

Colin Miller vs. PIT (3.7k DraftKings, 4.1k FanDuel)
Colin Miller’s been great for the surprising Golden Knights, recording four goals and 12 assists in 30 games. Miller’s produced two goals and five assists on the power play, as well as three assists and 16 shots in the last five contests. Lastly, Miller has fired 62 shots on net and blocked 18.

Others to consider: P.K Subban, Darnell Nurse, Brent Seabrook

NHL DFS Goalies

Marc-Andre Fleury vs PIT (7.7k DraftKings, 7.8k FanDuel)
Marc-Andre Fleury is back from injury and matches up against his former squad for the first time. Fleury made 35 saves in his first game back from a concussion. He has a 3-1-1 record, 2.35 goals against average, and a .930 save percentage. Overall, the Knights boast an 11-2-1 record at home.
