NHL DFS Centers
Nicklas Backstrom @ NYI (6.1k DraftKings, 6.3k FanDuel)
The Washington Capitals have started off hot, and Nicklas Backstrom’s been absolutely dynamic. He’s tallied 25 points in 29 games, including 15 assists. He’s potted two goals and dished out three helpers in the last two games. The Swede has collected one goal and nine assists when the Capitals have the man advantage. Backstrom has sniped three of his five goals when Washington is on the road.
Frans Nielsen vs FLA (3.2k DraftKings, 4.2k FanDuel)
Frans Nielsen has been a great third line center for the Red Wings this year, contributing 12 points in 29 games. He gets time on the power play and on the penalty kill, hitting two power play goals and one shorthanded this year. In the last five games, the 11-year vet has put two past the goalie and dished out one assist. He’ll be a cheap addition to your lineup tonight, and if James Reimer starts for the Florida Panthers, he’s surrendered at least three goals in the last six games.
David Desharnais vs. DAL (3.6k DraftKings, 3.5k FanDuel)
David Desharnais is getting some first line ice time due to injuries, and he’s been putting up points — contributing one goal and four assists in the last five contests. The former Canadien has produced three goals and 10 helpers this year. Desharnais has collected 11 of 13 points at Madison Square Garden this year and does have a goal and an assist on the power play.

Corey Perry vs. CAR (5.7k DraftKings, 6.4k FanDuel)
Corey Perry is the super pest you love to hate; he’s been great for the depleted Ducks. He leads the team in points with six goals and 16 assists. The Olympic gold medalist has tallied two goals and three assists in the last five contests. Perry is on the first power play unit and has collected one goal and four assists when the Ducks have the man advantage.
