As with any daily fantasy sport, the advice below is relevant for fantasy purposes. A player or team might perform better or worse from a fantasy perspective than in real life due to matchup, price, gameflow, and more. This is important when constructing a roster at any daily fantasy sports site.

Best Week 14 NFL DFS Stack Picks on FanDuel

Alex Smith/Travis Kelce/Tyreek Hill vs. OAK ($8.2k, $8.0k and $7.8k) – Cash/GPP
The Chiefs opened the playbook and threw it all over the yard in a shootout loss to the Jets last Sunday. We could see a similar approach this week against an Oakland team that ranks dead last in passing DVOA. The Raiders have coughed up 20 passing TDs with just one interception on the season, and Alex Smith carved them up in Week 7 en route to 342 yards and three TDs. Tyreek Hill is a huge mismatch for the Raiders’ oversized corners and went for 125 yards and a TD against them earlier this season. And Travis Kelce easily has the best floor-ceiling combination of any TE this week.

Derek Carr/Michael Crabtree @ KC ($7.7k and $7.1k) – Cash/GPP
On the other side of the ball, the Raiders should also be able to throw against a Chiefs team that ranks 30th in DVOA and 31st in pass defense against the opposition’s top target. Amari Cooper (ankle) is in concussion protocol on top of his injury. Even if he plays, Michael Crabtree will likely be the preferred target for Derek Carr and the safer Cash play. Top Chiefs CB Marcus Peters is also suspended for this game, and KC couldn’t stop the Jets’ anemic offense even with Peters active last Sunday.

Jimmy Garoppolo/Marquise Goodwin @ HOU ($7.0k and $5.7k) – GPP
A cheap enough stack to warrant consideration in Cash games for those willing to gamble on a weak offense, Jimmy Garoppolo and his new top receiver, Marquise Goodwin, could have a big Sunday. They face a Texans team that’s coughed up the eight-most receiving YPG (158.33) to opposing WRs this season after moving on from top corner A.J. Bouye. Goodwin caught all eight of his targets from Jimmy G for 99 yards in a brutal matchup at Chicago last week and should be more productive in a higher scoring affair this week.

Jamaal Williams/Packers D/ST @ CLE ($6.6k and $5.0k) – Cash
As always, a defense facing the Browns is a very solid option. That’s especially true since the Packers‘ defense rediscovered its pass rush with seven sacks and a fumble recovery for a TD against Tampa last week. DeShone Kizer has taken 15 sacks and thrown six interceptions since taking back the starting job in Cleveland in Week 7, so even the Packers’ struggling secondary has the potential to turn a throw the other way for big FPs. Then, Jamaal Williams is becoming a workhorse for Green Bay even after Aaron Jones (knee) returned and handled just one carry last week. News broke this week that Ty Montgomery (wrist) is done for the season, so Williams should be the biggest beneficiary of positive gameflow and a run-heavy approach with Brett Hundley under center on the road.

Giovani Bernard/Bengals D/ST vs. CHI ($5.1k and $4.6k) – Cash/GPP
These are two cost-effective options worth deploying alone in certain lineups. They could pay off together as a stack as well. With Joe Mixon (concussion) looking unlikely to play on a short week, Gio Bernard should handle the bulk of touches for Cincy after compiling 96 yards on 15 touches in a tough matchup against Pittsburgh last Monday. The Bengals’ defense might be without WLB Vontaze Burfict (head), but safety George Iloka won his suspension appeal and will play. They still have an elite defensive line capable of stopping Chicago’s run-first attack and sacking rookie Mitchell Trubisky early and often at home.

Aldrick Rosas/Giants D/ST vs. DAL ($4.5k, $4.1k) – GPP
Essentially the minimum price at both the kicker and D/ST positions, this Aldrick Rosas and Giants D/ST stack can afford you tons of salary flexibility for tournament lineups. We’ll see how the G-Men respond to interim HC Steve Spagnuolo, but chances are they’ll be giving more effort in defense of franchise QB Eli Manning (benched last week) and will be charged up to play spoiler against a divisional rival. The Cowboys’ offense has been generally awful without Ezekiel Elliott and with their best defensive player likely to return in Sean Lee (hamstring), they could bend without breaking and force the Giants to settle for Ross field goals.
