Best NHL DFS Picks for November 30, 2017

NHL DFS Centers

Auston Matthews @ EDM (7.9k DraftKings, 7.8k FanDuel)
Auston Matthews was held without a shot for the first time in his career (104 games) against the Flames. Look for him to come out firing against the Oilers. It will be a highly touted matchup with him squaring off against Connor McDavid. Matthews has notched 24 points (12 goals, 12 assists) in 22 games and is on a three-game point streak. Matthews has 14 points when the Leafs are away from the Air Canada Centre.

Mikael Granlund vs VGK (5.3k DraftKings, 6.7k FanDuel)
Mikael Granlund’s been great as a second- and third-line center for the Minnesota Wild. He’s tallied 15 points in 19 games with five goals. In the last six, he’s recorded four goals, two helpers and 17 shots on net. Granlund is on the first-team power play and has produced two goals and five assists when the Wild have the man advantage.

Radek Faksa @ CHI (3.4k DraftKings, 3.6k FanDuel)
Radek Faksa potted a hat trick last game against the Golden Knights, and it could be the start of a hot streak. Faksa’s been great on the road, potting five of his eight goals. He’s put up 12 points in 23 games and has tallied four points in the last five contests while firing 11 shots on net. The 23-year-old’s shooting percentage is at 23 percent, so he’s efficient when firing the puck on net.

Others to consider: Jamie Benn, Eric Staal, Bo Horvat

NHL DFS Wingers

Justin Abdelkader vs. MTL (3.5k DraftKings, 4.1k FanDuel)
Justin Abdelkader has put up 17 points in 24 games while getting four past opposing netminders. He’s tallied one goal and four helpers in the last five contests. Abdelkader is on the first power play unit, and he’s collected four points in that context. The Canadiens will be on the second half of a back-to-back tonight, and the Habs could be playing backup Antti Niemi, who has a 5.50 goals against average.

Milan Lucic vs. TOR (5.5k DraftKings, 5.3k FanDuel)
Milan Lucic is proving more than just a Connor McDavid protector this year. He’s collected 16 points with four goals in 25 games this season. The former Bruin has recorded four points in the last five contests with eight shots on net. The left winger has produced two assists when the Oilers have the man advantage. He’s potted a game-winner this year as well.

Thomas Vanek @ NSH (3.3k DraftKings, 5k FanDuel)
Thomas Vanek has been a surprisingly great pick-up for the Canucks. He’s recorded 17 points in 24 games this year, including one goal and four helpers in the last five contests. He’s on Vancouver’s first power-play unit and has been dominant, collecting nine points on the power play. The winger has points in four of the last five games.

Others to consider: William Nylander, Micheal Ferland, Tanner Pearson

NHL DFS Defensemen

John Carlson vs. LAK (6.1k DraftKings, 5.3k FanDuel)
John Carlson is doing exactly what the Capitals need. He’s recorded 18 points in 24 games with 16 helpers. The American defenseman is on the first power play team and has one snipe and nine assists on the PP. He’s produced two goals and 15 shots on net in the last five contests. His two goals this season have come at home, where he finds himself tonight.

Jan Rutta vs. DAL (3.2k DraftKings, 3.9k FanDuel)
The rookie defenseman’s been great for the Blackhawks this year, putting up 12 points in 24 games. He’s collected three points in the last five games and also gets some power play time. Rutta’s produced seven of his 12 points in the friendly confines of the United Center.

Mattias Ekholm vs. VAN (4.9k DraftKings, 4.5k FanDuel)
The Predators have plenty of great defensemen, but Mattias Ekholm should not be forgotten. He’s recorded 15 points in 24 games while sniping six goals. Ekholm’s produced two goals and one helper in the last five contests. The Swedish defenseman is on the second power play unit, and he’s tallied four goals and three assists when the Predators have the man advantage.

Others to consider: Duncan Keith, T.J. Brodie, Alex Edler

NHL DFS Goalies

Frederik Andersen @ EDM (7.5k DraftKings, 8.2k FanDuel)
Frederik Andersen’s been Toronto’s MVP this year, and it’s not really close. He faces a bevy of shots, and the 28-year-old is 14-7-1 with a 2.71 goals against average. In the last five games, he’s made over 40 saves twice, shut out a team, and collected three wins. The Oilers have struggled and are averaging a lowly 2.68 goals a contest.

Malcolm Subban @ MIN (7.2K DraftKings, 7.5k FanDuel)
Malcolm Subban is back from injury and looks ready to find his early season form. Before being hurt, he was 3-0 and looking like a legitimate NHL goaltender. Subban is 4-1-0 with a .928 save percentage and 2.09 goals against average. Subban is 1-1 since returning from injury and stopped at least 24 pucks in those contests.

Others to consider: Braden Holtby, Ben Bishop, Mike Smith
