Best NHL DFS Picks for November 24, 2017
NHL DFS Centers
Jordan Staal vs. TOR (6.1k DraftKings, 5.5k FanDuel)
Jordan Staal has found a home in Carolina and is putting up points to prove it — 15 in 20 games with six goals. Stall’s dished out six helpers in the last five games. Toronto gives up just over 2.90 goals a contest, so Staal should take advantage of that.
Andreas Athanasiou @ NYR (5.1k DraftKings, 4.1k FanDuel)
Andreas Athanasiou joined the team in late October, and he’s been awesome for the Red Wings: eight points in 12 games. In the last five contests, Athanasiou’s potted four goals and dished out two assists. In those five games, he’s fired 13 shots on net.
Ryan Nugent-Hopkins @ BUF (5.7k DraftKings, 5.5k FanDuel)
The Edmonton Oilers have struggled this year, but Ryan Nugent-Hopkins has been a bright spot. He’s got 17 points (eight goals, nine assists) in 22 games. Nugent-Hopkins has put up five points in the last five contests, including two goals. Buffalo has given up 3.55 goals a game, which is second-worst in the league.
Others to consider: Connor McDavid, Brayden Schenn, Adrian Kempe

NHL DFS Wingers
Alexander Radulov vs. CGY (6.4k DraftKings, 6.6k FanDuel)
Alexander Radulov was a big pickup for the Dallas Stars, and he’s been pretty good for them, to the tune of 20 points with 13 assists. Radulov has 10 points in the last 10 games with three snipes. He does have one goal against the Flames this year and has put five past the goaltender on the road.
Rick Nash vs. DET (5.8k DraftKings, 6.5k FanDuel)
Rick Nash’s hasn’t been extremely productive for the Rangers, but he’s been just great the last five games. He’s sniped three goals, dished out two assists and fired 12 shots on net in the previous five contests. He’s potted two goals when New York has the man advantage.
Tyler Toffoli vs. DAL (5.5k DraftKings, 5.4k FanDuel)
Tyler Toffoli and the LA Kings should take advantage of the struggling Arizona Coyotes. Arizona gives up a league-worst 3.67 goals a game. Toffoli’s got 16 points in 20 games and two goals in the last five games. Toffoli also leads the Kings in goals with 10, so look for him to light up the Coyotes.
Others to consider: Cam Atkinson, Matt Hoffman, William Nylander

NHL DFS Defensemen
Dougie Hamilton @ DAL (5k DraftKings, 5.2k FanDuel)
Dougie Hamilton’s been a rock for Calgary Flames this year. He’s recorded 10 points in 20 games with two goals. The mobile defenseman has three assists in the last five games. He’s done the most damage on the road, tallying eight out of his 10 points.
Roman Josi vs. STL (6.4k DraftKings, 6.2k FanDuel)
Roman Josi’s been a beast for the Predators, putting up 14 points in 18 games. He’s tallied six points in the previous five contests. Josi also has six points on the power-play for the Predators, logging a point in four of the last five games. He isn’t afraid to get the puck on net, recording 16 shots in the previous five contests.
Oliver Ekman-Larsson vs. LAK (4.7k DraftKings, 5.3k FanDuel)
Oliver Ekman-Larsson has been in the trade rumors, but he’s still putting up points. He has 15 points in 24 games with four points in the last five. Ekman-Larsson is on a three-game point streak with one snipe. He’s a cheap addition to your lineup, which would free up more salary to use on your forwards.
Others to consider: Jake Muzzin, Seth Jones, Morgan Rielly
NHL DFS Goalies
Cory Schneider vs. VAN (8k DraftKings, 8.2k FanDuel)
Cory Schneider faces off against his former squad, so expect a big game. He’s 8-4 this season with a .918 save percentage. In Schneider’s last game against the Canucks, he recorded a shutout while turning away 37 shots. He’s also put up a 2.57 goals against average at home.
Henrik Lundqvist vs. DET (8.1K DraftKings, 8.5k FanDuel)
Henrik Lundqvist has lived up his “The King” nickname for the Rangers this season. In the last 10 games, he’s 8-2-0 with a 2.36 goals against average. In three of the last four, Lundqvist has made at least 30 saves. The Swede has both of his shutouts at Madison Square Garden this year.
Others to Consider: Jonathan Quick, Cam Talbot, Craig Anderson.
