As with any daily fantasy sport, the advice below is relevant for fantasy purposes. A player or team might perform better or worse from a fantasy perspective than in real life due to matchup, price, gameflow, and more. This is important when constructing a roster.

Best Week 12 NFL DFS Stacks on FanDuel

Tom Brady/Brandin Cooks/Dion Lewis vs. MIA ($9.1k, $7.6k and $6.2k) – Cash/GPP
The Patriots will take advantage of the opposition’s weaknesses and the Dolphins have shown vulnerabilities just about everywhere while giving up 142 points over their last four losses. Miami’s struggled against the opposition’s top receiver with a below average group of cornerbacks, so they’ll have little answers for Brandin Cooks, who has been Tom Brady’s go-to-guy now that Chris Hogan (shoulder) is on the shelf. Dion Lewis has a high floor and decent ceiling as the preferred runner between the tackles for a team that will almost certainly lead the NFL in points scored when the season ends.

Russell Wilson/Jimmy Graham. @ SF ($8.6k and $7.0k) – GPP
Jimmy Graham has caught a touchdown on 7 of his last 31 receptions, meaning that a ridiculous 22.5 percent of the time Russell Wilson hits his TE it has turned into huge FD points over the last six weeks. Up next is a San Francisco team that ranks 30th in DVOA pass defense and has struggled to guard opposing TEs since losing FS Jimmie Ward (arm) for the season. Wilson’s piling up rushing yards and making plays all over the field, but it’s a bit of a crapshoot picking between Doug Baldwin, Paul Richardson and Tyler Lockett as stacking partners with him at receiver.

Cam Newton/Christian McCaffrey @ NYJ ($8.0k and $6.7k) – GPP
Christian McCaffrey seems to be under priced on FanDuel despite consistently producing as a rookie. He’s become more involved as a rusher recently and is clearly one of the most talented receiving backs to ever enter the NFL, while the Jets are ranked 23rd in DVOA pass defense against opposing RBs this season. Cam Newton has insane upside on FanDuel with his ability to rush for 100 yards and/or multiple touchdowns on a given slate and these two should hook up often regardless of game script with Greg Olsen (foot) slowly working his way back and Curtis Samuel (ankle) done for the year.

Marcus Mariota/Rishard Matthews/Delanie Walker @ IND ($7.8k, $6.3k and $5.9k) – Cash/GPP
This seems like a safe enough stack for your cash game lineups with solid upside if paired with Colts gamebreaker T.Y. Hilton ($7.5k). Passing offenses tend to thrive at Lucas Oil Stadium and Marcus Mariota’s becoming much harder to defend now that he’s overcome his hamstring woes. Rishard Matthews has drawn 26 targets over his last four appearances and will function as the top WR against a Colts team that cut top CB Vontae Davis, while Delanie Walker has always been a problem for Indy’s defense and a favorite of Mariota’s as well

Le’Veon Bell/Steelers Defense vs. CIN ($9.4k and $4.8k) – Cash
If ownership rates are extremely high for Antonio Brown and Ben Roethlisberger following their explosion last Thursday night, this might actually be a contrarian stack in large tournaments. Regardless of the ownership for LeVeon Bell and the Steelers defense, both plays possess extremely high floors with Pittsburgh (-14) heavily favored at home. The Packers run defense has been much improved lately, but Bell’s seen a 17.8 percent targets share for the Steelers this season and is always a great bet for 100 YFS and/or a touchdown. Brett Hundley’s taken a whopping 17 sacks over 23 quarters a starter and the Steelers have the second-most sacks (34) in the NFL.

Kareem Hunt/Chiefs D/ST vs. BUF ($7.7k, $5.0k) – GPP
Kareem Hunt has hit the rookie wall over the last several weeks but might finally break through in this plus matchup. The Bills defense has been a doormat over the past several weeks and will have to try to right the ship at Arrowhead Stadium, proudly known as the loudest venue in the NFL. Kansas City’s offense has been reeling as a unit, but the defense did everything possible to eek out a win at the Meadowlands last week, and faces a depleted and predictable Bills offense.
