Please note the advice below is relevant for daily fantasy purposes. A player or team might be better or worse from a fantasy perspective than in real life due to matchup, price, and lots of other factors. This is important to consider when constructing a roster.
When playing daily fantasy NBA, it’s important to consider the point spreads and totals in trying to predict gameflow. Injuries play a huge role in the NBA on a nightly basis, and value plays can arise at a moment’s notice. Always, always check the starting lineups and injury news right before tipoff.

Best NBA DFS Picks for November 18, 2017
Guards
James Harden @ MEM (DraftKings 11.1, FanDuel 11.8k)
James Harden had 49 points and seven assists in the Houston Rockets’ 142-116 victory over the Suns last night. It was a ridiculous stat line and victory. “The Beard” is averaging 31.8 points and 11 dimes a game this season. Chris Paul is back, but he’s getting minimal minutes, so Harden should continue his dominance against the Grizzlies.
C.J. McCollum vs. SAC (7.1k DraftKings, 7.3k FanDuel)
C.J. McCollum is arguably the Blazers’ best two-way player. He’s averaging 22.5 points and 4.1 boards a game. The Lehigh product is averaging 22.6 points and shooting 43.8 percent from 3-point land in the last five games. The Sacramento Kings struggle on defence, allowing 107.1 points a game.
Tyreke Evans vs. HOU (7k DraftKings, 7.4k FanDuel)
Tyreke Evans is balling right now for the Grizzlies, providing the offensive spark the Grizzlies desperately needed. The former Rookie of the Year is averaging 22.8 points and five rebounds in the last five games. He’s shooting 43 percent from deep while dishing out 3.5 assists per contest.
Others to consider: Evan Fournier, Ben Simmons, Steph Curry, Eric Bledsoe

Forwards
Blake Griffin @ CHA (8.9k DraftKings, 8.6k FanDuel)
Blake Griffin has become the man in Clipper country, and he’s been doing it all. The Oklahoma product is dropping just over 23 a game while ripping down eight boards and dishing 4.7 assists a game. The offense runs through Griffin; he has the highest usage rate on the team at 29 percent.
Giannis Antetokounmpo @ DAL (11.4k DraftKings, 12.1k FanDuel)
Giannis Antetokounmpo is a superstar in this league because he can play all five positions. He’s averaging a staggering 30.6 points and 10 rebounds a game. In his last five, the “Greek Freak” has scored at least 20 points, including a 40-point effort against the Cavaliers. In those five games, he had two four-block contests.
Kevin Durant @ PHI (9.6k DraftKings,10.3k FanDuel)
Kevin Durant is a must-have in your lineup when the Golden State Warriors take the hardwood. He’s scored at least 20 points a game in his last three and hasn’t missed a free throw. Despite all the superstars on Dubnation, he is ranked second in usage at 27.8. Durant dropped 29 points against the upstart Sixers last time they played.
Others to Consider: Aaron Gordon, Harrison Barnes, Robert Covington
Centers
Joel Embiid vs. GSW (10k DraftKings, 11k FanDuel)
Joel Embiid is starting to make people believe in “The Process.” He had a career game against the Lakers on Wednesday. The former No. 3 overall pick was dominant in that contest, totaling 46 points, 15 rebounds, seven assists, and seven rejections. Tonight, Embiid will be matched up with Zaza Pachulia, who he should take to school and back. In the last five contests, Embiid is torturing defenses with 22.4 points and 10.6 rebounds.
Al Horford @ ATL (7.4k DraftKings, 7.3k FanDuel)
AL Horford and the Boston Celtics will take their 14-game winning streak to the city where Horford became a star. He will be taking on his former squad and should be primed for a big game. The Florida product has a double-double in the last two games and is averaging 15 points and nine rebounds on the season. Look for the Celtics to get Horford the ball a lot in this Saturday night contest.
Others to Consider: Marc Gasol, Dwight Howard, Draymond Green
