Best NHL DFS Picks for November 18, 2017

NHL DFS Centers

Artem Anisimov @ PIT (5.2k DraftKings, 5.5k FanDuel)
Artem Anisimov is on a roll recently and could do some damage against the Penguins. Anisimov potted a hat trick in the Blackhawks’ last game against the New York Rangers. In the last three games, he’s recorded 15 shots on net. He does damage on the power-play, tallying four goals with the man advantage. Anisimov has also accounted for three game-winners this year.

Nazem Kadri @ MTL (6.2k DraftKings, 6.3k FanDuel)
Nazem Kadri has picked up the slack since the Maple Leafs’ superstar Auston Matthews went down due to injury. Kadri has three goals and three assists in the last five games. The Leafs can light up the scoreboard and are third in the league in scoring at 3.60 goals a contest. Kadri’s tallied nine goals and eight assists in 17 games, including three goals on the power-play.

John Tavares @ TAM (8k DraftKings, 8.7k FanDuel)
This Islanders-Lightning matchup features the top two scoring teams in the league. The Lightning are first in the league at 4.0 goals a game while the Islanders are second at 3.61 a contest. Tavares has potted 13 goals while dishing out six assists in 19 games. Tavares shot total over the last five games is 10, plus two assists.

Others to consider: Evgeni Malkin, Jack Eichel, Kyle Turris

NHL DFS Wingers

Nikita Kucherov vs. NYI  (8.1k DraftKings, 9.2k FanDuel)
Nikita Kucherov has been dominant this year, almost disturbingly good. He’s sniped a league-leading 17 goals while tallying 33 points in 19 games. In the past five games, he’s recorded four goals and eight assists. Plus, Kucherov has been a monster on the power-play, totaling 13 points. Adding him and linemate Steven Stamkos to your lineup might be a must for this Saturday matchup.

Phil Kessel vs. CHI (6.9k DraftKings, 8k FanDuel)
It’s not Sidney Crosby or Evgeni Malkin leading the Penguins in points, goals or assists. Phil Kessel is leading the Penguins with 24 points (eight goals, 16 assists). In the previous five games, he’s recorded four goals and four assists. On the power-play, he’s put up 12 points, including two snipes.

Viktor Arvidsson vs. CAR (6.5k DraftKings, 5.8k FanDuel)
Viktor Arvidsson’s season is off to a great start. He’s scored seven goals and dished out five assists. He’s potted three times and has registered 17 shots in the last five games. In his last game, Arvidsson logged one goal and one assist against the Wild. On the power-play, he’s recorded four points.

Others to consider: Anders Lee, T.J. Oshie, Mitch Marner

NHL DFS Defensemen

Alex Pietrangelo @ MIN (6.3k DraftKings, 6.5k FanDuel)
Alex Pietrangelo is a major reason why the Blues are 14-5-1 this season. He’s tied for first in defenseman scoring with 18 points, putting one past the tender seven times this season. Pietrangelo is dominant on the power-play with two goals and four helpers, plus two assists last time out against the Oilers.

John Carlson vs. MIN (5.8k DraftKings, 5.7k FanDuel)
John Carlson has been great for the Capitals this year. Carlson has tallied 16 points in 20 games with two goals. He’s looked especially aggressive in the past five games — one goal, four helpers, and 10 shots on net. Carlson is the quarterback on the power-play and has seven assists for the Capitals when they have the man advantage.

Shea Weber vs. TOR (6k DraftKings, 5.4k FanDuel)
Rivalry games usually mean superstar players step up. Look for Shea Weber to have a big game against the Toronto Maple Leafs. Weber potted a goal last game out against the Coyotes. He’s recorded 13 points in 19 games, including four goals. He’s also sniped two goals on the power-play.

Others to consider: Ryan Suter, Victor Hedman, Roman Josi

NHL DFS Goalies

Martin Jones vs. BOS (8.3k DraftKings, 8.8k FanDuel)
Martin Jones squares off against a Bruins team that struggles to score at 2.67 goals a game. Jones’ goals against average is 2.13 and has a .926 save percentage. He’s won nine games this season, including one shutout. Jones also has two goals-against average against the Bruins.

Pekka Rinne vs. COL (7.9K DraftKings, 8.5k FanDuel)
Pekka Rinne has started the season off strong with a 9-3-2 record. His goals-against average is 2.48, and he’s 4-1 in the last five games. He’s also made at least 29 saves in the past five contests. Rinne has one shutout this season and should be poised to dominate the Avalanche.

Others to Consider: Matt Murray, Braden Holtby, Jake Allen
