NBA DFS DraftKings.com & FanDuel.com Lineups & Picks for November 10, 2017

For the NBA DFS slate tonight, and for the rest of the season, we’ll be writing up the guards, forwards, and centers we’re considering for our Cash and GPP lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel.

Please note the advice below is relevant for daily fantasy purposes. A player or team might be better or worse from a fantasy perspective than in real life due to matchup, price, and lots of other factors. This is important to consider when constructing a roster.

When playing daily fantasy NBA, it’s important to consider the point spreads and totals in trying to predict gameflow. Injuries play a huge role in the NBA on a nightly basis, and value plays can arise at a moment’s notice. Always, always check the starting lineups and injury news right before tipoff.

Best NBA DFS Picks for November 10, 2017

Guards

Damian Lillard vs. BKN ($9.4k DraftKings, $10.0k FanDuel)
He fell flat in a tough matchup against Memphis on Wednesday, but the last time Damian Lillard shot poorly (3-for-16 vs. New Orleans) he bounced back with an extended stretch of elite offensive play. You couldn’t craft a better bounce-back spot for Lillard than a home matchup against the lowly Nets. Brooklyn once again ranks atop the league in pace while giving up the most PPG (116.2). Brooklyn’s clearly been generous to opposing PGs, and the addition of offensive-minded D’Angelo Russell won’t help. Lillard cruised past Russell with averages of 21.8 points and 5.8 assists over four meetings last year.

Elfrid Payton @ PHO ($6.9k DraftKings, $8.1k FanDuel)
Returning to the floor after an eight-game absence, Elfrid Payton showed few symptoms of a hamstring injury while burning the Knicks for 11 points and 11 assists. His playing time could increase after getting a taste of game action. Yet he’s worth deploying at this DK price tag regardless of whether he can top 30 minutes in this juicy matchup. Phoenix is giving up the most FPPG (55.51) to opposing point guards this season and the second-most PPG (115.8) overall. Payton is a triple double threat in any fast-paced matchup, while these two teams rank second and sixth (respectively) in the league in pace of play.

Austin Rivers @ OKC ($5.3k DraftKings, $5.9k FanDuel)
If Austin Rivers can go tonight, he’ll have a high-volume role with Patrick Beverley (knee) ruled out and Danilo Gallinari (hip) questionable to suit up. He’s posting a high usage rate with those players off the floor this season but is dealing with an ankle injury of his own. His potential absence might open the floor for Lou Williams to launch a ton of shots and for Blake Griffin to really try and carry the shorthanded Clippers. Yet if Rivers is out there, he’s a good mid-tier option after he dropped 24 points in a tough matchup against the Spurs on Wednesday.

Others to Consider: Kyrie Irving, Reggie Jackson, Evan Fournier, Marcus Smart, Lou Williams, Donovan Mitchell, Mike James, Bojan Bogdanovic

Forwards

Giannis Antetokounmpo @ SA ($10.5k DraftKings, $11.8k FanDuel)
DraftKings seems to price superstars a little below their potential in a clever ploy to create more action. Giannis Antetokounmpo is cheap enough to fit into balanced lineups on this full slate. On FanDuel, he’s a bit too pricey, but a matchup against the Spurs is obviously much less intimidating with Kawhi Leonard (quad) in street clothes. Leonard was the primary reason Antetokounmpo produced his fewest points per game (11.0) against any team over two meetings with San Antonio last year. This season, the Spurs are outside the top 10 in defensive rating. Giannis is a near lock for a double-double and brings triple-double upside every time he steps on the floor.

LaMarcus Aldridge vs. MIL ($7.9k DraftKings, $8.5k FanDuel)
There are definitely exploitable matchups for the Spurs tonight. LaMarcus Aldridge matches up against one of the worst defensive front lines in the NBA. Giannis might switch onto LMA at some point; otherwise, the Spurs’ primary offensive weapon should steamroll John Henson and young Thon Maker. He’s been seeing a dramatic increase in volume with his highest usage rate (28.3 percent) in four seasons and just burned the highly-rated Clippers defense for 25 points to reassert his status as a virtually unstoppable scorer.

Marcus Morris vs. CHA ($4.6k DraftKings, $5.2k FanDuel)
With Al Horford (concussion) already ruled out tonight and Jayson Tatum (ankle) questionable, the Celtics should be forced to give Marcus Morris extended run tonight. The ball didn’t bounce his way in Wednesday’s win over the Lakers, as he only grabbed one rebound over 25 minutes. Still, he was a great source of offense for Boston in the halfcourt, as he dropped 18 points on 7-of-15 shooting. Tonight, the C’s host a middling Hornets team that features several combo forwards. Boston will need Morris to get into shape quickly due to the circumstances created by their many injuries.

Others to Consider: Blake Griffin, Khris Middleton, Tobias Harris, Bobby Portis, T.J. Warren, Luke Babbitt, Wesley Johnson

Center

Jusuf Nurkic vs. BKN ($6.8k DraftKings, $8.5k FanDuel)
You can pay up for Blake Griffin in an effort to stack a potential shootout between the Clippers and Thunder. You can also pay way down for Tyler Zeller ($3.0k, $3.4k) at the minimum price tag, provided the Nets are still without important bigs Trevor Booker (back) and Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (hip) on Friday night. Yet the absence of those players would also open up the middle for Jusuf Nurkic, who is primed to bounce back after a down game against Marc Gasol and the Grizzlies. Brooklyn coughs up the second-most FPPG (62.61) to opposing centers this year and is simply running out of big bodies capable of containing the Blazers’ versatile seven-footer.

Aron Baynes vs. CHA ($4.3k DraftKings, $4.8k FanDuel)
It might seem like point-chasing, but Aron Baynes is still a very good value on both leading DFS sites. He should remain a reliable source of rebounds even if he can’t approach the career-high 21 points he produced on Wednesday. He’s posting a much higher usage rate with Al Horford off the floor this season and will be needed to play even more minutes if Jayson Tatum can’t go. Charlotte is an average offensive team that gives up the seventh-most defensive rebounds per game (35.5). The bruising Aussie is rocking a solid 20 percent defensive rebounding rate on the year.

Others to Consider: Andre Drummond, Myles Turner, Tyler Zeller
