Best Week 10 NFL DFS Stacks on FanDuel

Tom Brady/Rob Gronkowski @ DEN ($8.5k, $8.1k FanDuel) – GPP
All eyes will be on this duo when the Patriots visit Denver on Sunday night, but that doesn’t mean Rob Gronkowski won’t make big plays. Likely to at least draw holding or pass interference calls in the red zone, the big fellow is rested coming out of the bye and ready to produce against a Denver defense that ranks 25th in DVOA pass defense against TEs this season. The Patriots will score points, and the way Denver is stopping the run, Tom Brady and Josh McDaniels will have to get creative to beat the Broncos on the road.

Matthew Stafford/Golden Tate/Marvin Jones Jr. vs. CLE ($7.8k, $6.9k and $7.1k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
Who doesn’t love the Lions this week? Everyone is scoring on the Browns, and as we’ve witnessed on national television the past few weeks, the Lions can’t convert in the red zone unless they throw. Matthew Stafford is coming off a hot three-game stretch in which he compiled 1,106 passing yards and five touchdowns. Now, he faces the worst-rated defense in the league at home, where he went 6-2 with a 96.6 passer rating last season. Golden Tate is a reliable play as an interior receiver, and it’s best to reserve Marvin Jones Jr. for GPP formats given his role as a downfield threat.

Ryan Fitzpatrick/DeSean Jackson/Cameron Brate vs. NYJ ($6.1k, $6.3k and $5.7k FanDuel) – GPP
As mentioned in our main FanDuel plays article, this is a cheap stacking option to help you squeeze in some of the most obvious RB plays of Week 10. Ryan Fitzpatrick is significantly cheaper than any other QB with upside, and Tampa is in a potential bounce-back spot at home against the mediocre Jets. Mike Evans is set to miss the game due to suspension, forcing targets toward speedster DeSean Jackson (who still has enough left in the tank to burn this Jets unit) and Cameron Brate in the red zone. Tampa’s Adam Humphries ($4.8k) is a cheap option to consider as well in his role as a slot receiver.

Ben Roethlisberger/Antonio Brown/Martavis Bryant/JuJu Smith-Schuster @ IND ($7.6k/$9.3k and $5.1k/$6.5k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
Using Martavis Bryant this week is an absolute YOLO move that only makes sense in huge tournaments. That said, everything seems to be patched up after his one-game relegation, and if he gets opportunities against a Colts team giving up the most pass plays of 20-plus yards in the NFL this season (42), he could make a splash. Also, this is road Ben Roethlisberger we’re talking about, so expectations should be tempered for the aging QB. But Antonio Brown should run circles around whoever the Colts throw out there at corner. Don’t go so far as to play all three of Ben’s weapons in what could be a relatively low-scoring game, but take a stab with one of his deep threats in tournaments, and roll out Brown in Cash Games.

Leonard Fournette/Jaguars Defense vs. LAC ($8.7k and $5.3k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
Well, this stack didn’t pan out last week because Leonard Fournette was a surprise inactive, but he’s slated to start this Sunday in a much, much better matchup. The Chargers are allowing the second-most RuYPG (135.1) this season and rank 26th in DVOA run defense. Meanwhile, Fournette’s been running wild in his first NFL season and handled at least 23 touches in his last three appearances before sitting a game with an ankle injury and getting benched for disciplinary reasons. The Jaguars’ defense leads the NFL in sacks (35) and PPG allowed (14.6) this year, so paying up for that unit is a good move in Cash.

LeSean McCoy/Bills Defense vs. NO ($8.3k and $4.2k FanDuel) – GPP
The Bills’ defense is a worthwhile cheap option regardless, but using that D/ST in tandem with LeSean McCoy after a really down performance against the Jets is definitely a contrarian path. The Saints’ defense is seriously improved but has faced generally weak competition this season and will find the sledding much tougher this week in the cold at Ralph Wilson Stadium. New Orleans still ranks 28th in DVOA run defense, and when the Bills get up early, they often ride McCoy to victory.
