Best NHL DFS Picks for November 9, 2017

NHL DFS Centers

Bo Horvat @ ANH (5k DraftKings, 5.9k FanDuel)
Bo Horvat has 11 points in 10 games so far this year. The Canucks have a lot of fight, and Horvat has been dominant. He totaled six points in the last three games, and in the game against the Penguins, he recorded a goal and three assists. Horvat is playing on the top line while Brock Boeser and Sven Baertschi are handling most of the offensive load.

Brayden Schenn vs ARI (6.3k DraftKings, 6.5k FanDuel)
The line of Brayden Schenn, Vladimir Tarasenko, and Jaden Schwartz has dominated this year. They have a combined 58 points (21 goals, 37 assists), and Schenn has 18 of them. They will be taking on a struggling Arizona team allowing four goals a game, second-worst in the league. Schenn has six points in the last two games, highlighted by a four-assist game against the Leafs.

Dylan Larkin @ CAL (5.1k DraftKings, 5.5k FanDuel)
Dylan Larkin has started off the season on fire for the rebuilding Red Wings. He has tallied 14 points in the last 16 games and six in the last five. He gets the puck on net, and against the Oilers, he had 10(!) shots on the netminder. Larkin has potted a game-winner and a shorthanded goal this year.

Others to consider: Connor McDavid, Anze Kopitar, Steven Stamkos

NHL DFS Wingers

Jakub Voracek vs CHI (6.9k DraftKings, 75k FanDuel)
Jakub Voracek leads the Flyers in points with 18 points (three goals, 15 assists). He is a focal point on the powerplay and has six assists with the man advantage. The Flyers are averaging 3.13 goals a game, and Voracek is a major reason why. In the last five games, he’s totaled 14 shots on goal.

Nikita Kucherov vs LAK (8.2k DraftKings, 8.9k FanDuel)
Nikita Kucherov is dominating the NHL right now, and it doesn’t look like he’ll be stopping anytime soon. He has 24 points with 15 snipes in 16 games. Averaging almost a goal per game, Kucherov is a major reason why the Lightning lead the league in goals per game at 3.87. This should be a high-scoring matchup with the Kings, and Kucherov should be primed for a big night. He has four goals in the last five games.

Taylor Hall vs EDM (7.3 DraftKings, 7.5k FanDuel)
Whenever a player goes up against his former squad, expect a big effort. Taylor Hall and the Devils have started the season off very strong. Hall has 17 points in 14 games, seven in the last five. The last time Hall played the Oilers, he sniped one in a 6-3 loss.

Others to Consider: Brandon Saad, Rickard Rakell, Wayne Simmonds

NHL DFS Defensemen

Mikhail Sergachev @ LAK (4.6k DraftKings, 4.5k FanDuel)
It seems Mikhail Sergachev just needed the sunny skies of Tampa to be successful. He has 12 (four goals and eight assists) points so far this season. He’s been great on the PP with one goal and four assists, plus two game-winning goals and three points in the last five games. He’s also logged at least one shot on goal in the past five contests.

Will Butcher vs EDM (4.6k DraftKings, 4.9k FanDuel)
The rookie hasn’t played like a rookie for the Devils this season. He has 12 points this year, and all of them are assists. He is due for a goal, but his ability to quarterback the powerplay has been impressive. Seven of his 12 assists have come on the PP. Butcher is a must-start tonight.

T.J. Brodie vs DET (4.7k DraftKings, 4.6k FanDuel)
T.J. Brodie is cheap add for your lineup and has been putting up points this season — two goals and eight assists in 15 games. He gets a lot of powerplay minutes and has five points on the PP in 2017. He plays almost 24 minutes a game, so he has the ability to pick up points in all sorts of ways.

Others to consider: Victor Hedman, Drew Doughty Mike Green, Shea Weber

NHL DFS Goalies

Cory Schneider vs EDM (7.7k DraftKings, 8.2k FanDuel)
Cory Schneider and the Devils are going up against an Oilers team that ranks dead last in goals per game at 2.29. Schneider has made at least 34 saves in the past four games, picking up one win. He is 6-3-0 on the season with a 2.98 goals against average. Look for him to shut the door on an Oilers team that hasn’t found a groove yet.

Ryan Miller vs VAN (7.9K DraftKings, 8.1k FanDuel)
Ryan Miller could be the pick of the night against his former squad. He hasn’t seen too much action this year, but John Gibson is hurt and will need Miller to pick up the slack. In three games this year, he is 1-0-2 with a 2.13 GAA and a .946 save percentage. Miller could face lots of shots to boost the fantasy points, and the Canucks are only averaging 2.80 goals a game.

Others to Consider: Jake Allen, Jonathan Quick, Devan Dubnyk
