FanDuel NFL DFS Week 10 Picks and Plays for Cash Game and GPP Lineups
Week 10 of NFL DFS is upon us, and everyone is looking to cash in on the big daily fantasy football money at FanDuel. Every week, we’ll bring you our top daily fantasy NFL picks for each position and recommend them as Cash Game and/or GPP plays. And to keep up with all things PlayPicks, follow us on Twitter and like us on Facebook.
As with any DFS, the advice below is relevant for fantasy purposes. A player or team might be better or worse from a fantasy perspective than in real life due to matchup, price, gameflow, and more factors. This is important when constructing a roster.
In NFL DFS, predicting gameflow can be vital. Teams on the way to winning comfortably will be far more likely to lean on their running games, while two teams with poor defenses and high-powered offenses could pay off by getting into a shootout. Later in the season, weather will play a key factor in NFL games, so make sure to check the forecast for each Sunday.

Best Week 10 NFL DFS Quarterbacks on FanDuel
Dak Prescott @ ATL ($8.8k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
Ezekiel Elliott won’t be active this Sunday and that should put more on Prescott’s plate. He’s facing a Falcons defense that ranks 28th in DVOA defense and 25th against the pass in a game with a healthy 50.5-point over/under, the highest line of Week 10. Prescott is 11-3 with a 67 percent completion rate and 23:3 TD-to-INT ratio over 12 games under domes and retractable roofs. The Falcons are reeling with a lengthy Super Bowl hangover.
Tom Brady @ DEN ($8.5k FanDuel) – GPP
Perception of Denver’s defense remains strong, but the reality is that the Broncos are vulnerable at the back end. They were just picked apart by Carson Wentz and the Eagles without their best receiver (Zach Ertz). The Patriots can’t really run the ball, and Denver leads the league in rush defense, so we should see Tom Brady throwing the ball 40-plus times, an approach which led to huge lines when he tossed eight touchdowns with one pick over three meetings with Denver prior to a rough outing last season.
Matthew Stafford vs. CLE ($8.2k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
Fresh off drubbing the struggling Packers defense, Matthew Stafford draws the best matchup imaginable for a QB as his team hosts the lowly Browns. Cleveland ranks 26th in DVOA pass defense and is allowing opposing QBs to post the second-highest passer rating (103) in the NFL this year. Stafford is averaging 302.2 passing YPG with a 96.2 passer rating and seven touchdowns over four home games this year.
Ryan Fitzpatrick vs. NYJ ($6.1k FanDuel) – GPP
Ryan Fitzpatrick takes over for the struggling Jameis Winston (shoulder) in a plus spot against a Jets team that ranks 24th in DVOA pass defense and has given up the most passing TDs (19) this season. This is a revenge game for “Fitz” against his former team. Despite popular perception that Winston is more talented (he might be), Fitzpatrick has been far better in terms of decision making when on the field this season. Give him a look as a cheap QB with decent upside in a game to target.
Others to consider: Matt Ryan, Ben Roethlisberger, Jared Goff, Josh McCown
Best Week 10 NFL DFS Running Backs on FanDuel
Le’Veon Bell @ IND ($9.4k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
I’m fine fading Todd Gurley in a relatively tough matchup against the Texans and would jump all over Le’Veon Bell at a slightly cheaper price. The best running back and most consistent offensive player in the NFL should run all over a Colts team that ranks dead last in DVOA against his position. He rolled to 120 rushing yards and a TD against the Colts last Thanksgiving and should be able to salt this game away after the Steelers (-10) prospectively pull ahead.
Leonard Fournette vs. LAC ($8.7k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
The rookie took his medicine by sitting out a Week 9 win over Cincy. Now, Leonard Fournette should return fresh after not seeing the field since he tweaked his ankle in Week 7. The Chargers allow the second-most RuYPG (135.1) at a 4.6 YPC clip this season. As long as he has buried the hatchet with Doug Marrone, Fournette should resume his role leading a run-first team.
Ezekiel Elliott/Alfred Morris @ ATL ($8.9k/$5.4k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
Unlike the legal process, this is simple: If Ezekiel Elliott wins his latest appeal of a six-game suspension on Thursday, he’ll remain a fantastic play against the Falcons 27th-ranked run defense. Should he be forced to finally begin serving that suspension, Alfred Morris would have great value in the same matchup. The veteran gained 11 yards on his sole carry last week, and Darren McFadden was a healthy scratch (rookie Rod Smith didn’t record a touch), so Morris certainly seems like the immediate replacement if Dallas loses its star back.
Orleans Darkwa @ SF ($5.3k FanDuel) – Cash
Orleans Darkwa was effectively removed from last week’s beatdown at the hands of the Rams because it got out of hand so early, but he was off to a great start. Now, the Giants (-1) face a winless 49ers team in a game Vegas expects to be quite close. Darkwa has a great chance for success against a defense that coughs up the most RuYPG (135.7) this year and gave up a league-high 25 rushing TDs last season. He’s running at a 5.1 YPC clip and should continue to see plenty of work as the G-Men look to hide ineffective Eli Manning and a depleted receiving corps.
Others to consider: Todd Gurley, LeSean McCoy, Lamar Miller, Jerick McKinnon
Best Week 10 NFL DFS Wide Receivers on FanDuel
Antonio Brown @ IND ($9.3k FanDuel) – Cash
Antonio Brown is in a tier all his own given Julio Jones is banged up and both A.J. Green and Mike Evans are dealing with quarterback and maturity issues alike. Brown will face a Colts team hemorrhaging production through the air (coughing up the second-most passing YPG per game at 279.7) and was without top CB Vontae Davis (groin) last week. Brown went off against Indy last Thanksgiving, and the only threat to his upside is a potential runaway win for the powerful Steelers, which is much less likely when you have Big Ben playing on the road.
Golden Tate vs. CLE ($7.4k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
The perfect option to pair with Matthew Stafford, Golden Tate has caught seven balls in consecutive games since resting an ailing shoulder during the Lions’ Week 8 bye. Tate is clearly safe enough to use in Cash formats against a Browns team that ranks dead last in DVOA pass defense against the opposition’s top receiver.
Robby Anderson @ TB ($6.5k FanDuel) – GPP
Tampa’s supposedly reloaded defense has been an absolute disaster with Bucs top CB Brent Grimes (shoulder) out over the last two weeks. The Bucs are now ranked 31st in DVOA pass defense while giving up the third-most passing YPG (272.4) this season. Robby Anderson has taken over as the clear-cut No. 1 receiver for the Jets with 17 catches on 28 targets over his last four appearances. He’s primed for another productive game in this plus matchup.
Mohamed Sanu vs. DAL ($5.9k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
Mohamed Sanu will be a very popular play if Julio Jones (leg) misses this potential shootout in Week 10. And even if Jones suits up, the star receiver could be deployed as something of a decoy and would likely draw plenty of double teams. Sanu has taken advantage of the extra attention paid to Julio in the red zone with a TD in consecutive games. He runs most of his routes down the seam, where the Cowboys are vulnerable due to their penchant for playing Cover 2 zone.
Others to consider: A.J. Green, Demaryius Thomas, Kelvin Benjamin, Marvin Jones Jr., JuJu Smith-Schuster, DeSean Jackson
Best Week 10 NFL DFS Tight Ends on FanDuel
Cameron Brate vs. NYJ ($5.7k FanDuel) – GPP
Cameron Brate’s production dipped dramatically in an embarrassing showing at New Orleans last week, but he should bounce back against a weak group of Jets linebackers. If Mike Evans (suspension) is unable to win his appeal and play in Week 10, Brate would vacuum targets in the red zone. He’s already established a good rapport with fellow Harvard grad Ryan Fitzpatrick, making the two of them decent options to stack in tournaments.
Delanie Walker vs. CIN ($5.5k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
Delanie Walker played over 60 percent of offensive snaps last Sunday despite missing almost an entire week of practice with an ankle injury. He should be good to go this week after getting in a bunch of limited reps. The Bengals have an excellent secondary that could shut down the Titans’ weak receivers on the outside, but Cincy ranks 26th in DVOA pass defense against opposing TEs, and Walker is due for a receiving TD as one of Marcus Mariota’s favorite red zone targets.
Others to consider: Rob Gronkowski, Evan Engram, Austin Seferian-Jenkins, Austin Hooper
Best Week 10 NFL DFS D/ST on FanDuel
Lions vs. CLE ($5.3k FanDuel) – Cash/GPP
Clearly, the Lions D/ST is a great option to consider against the walking disaster known as the Cleveland Browns. DeShone Kizer has thrown 11 picks and taken 15 sacks over seven NFL appearances and now faces an elite defense with shutdown corners on the outside and a superb pass rush led by Ziggy Ansah. Kizer will do so on the road, where the ravenous Lions fan base tastes a playoff berth in the down NFC North.
Bills vs. NO ($4.2k FanDuel) – GPP
The Bills were embarrassed on TNF last week, and you can beat this unit is motivated to bounce back in a big way. The Saints’ offense has been much less effective outdoors on the road, and Buffalo is a completely different team at home, where the Bills are allowing just 17.3 PPG and 68 RuYPG with 11 turnovers through four games this season.
