Best NHL DFS Picks for November 6, 2017

NHL DFS Centers

Auston Matthews vs VGK (8k DraftKings, 8.2k FanDuel)
The Toronto Maple Leafs score a ton of goals and Matthews has been responsible for many of them. He has ten goals and eight assists in 15 games. The Golden Knights seem to have a new goalie every game so the high octane offence of the Maple Leafs should take advantage. The Mike Babcock squad is second in the league in scoring at 3.8 a game. Matthews has six points in the past six games, with three goals.

Evgeny Kuznetsov vs ARI (6.9k DraftKings, 7.2k FanDuel)
The Russian sniper has started the year off strong with 16 points in 14 games. He centres the line with Alex Ovechkin so he gets tons of assists (14) and gets first team powerplay minutes. The Coyotes have the second worst goals against average in the league at 4.13 so Kuznetsov is a must-start for your lineup. The centremen has four powerplay points this year.

Alex Wennberg vs NYR (4.9k DraftKings, 5.4k FanDuel)
Wennberg has been getting his teammates involved this year and it’s paying off in points. He has eight assists this year and a total of nine points. The Jackets can fill up the scoresheet and they’re eighth in the league in scoring. Wennberg does get a ton of shots on goal and has 12 in the past five games.

Others to consider: Tyler Seguin, Dylan Larkin, Bo Horvat, Mikko Koivu

NHL DFS Wingers

James Neal at TML (6.4k DraftKings, 7.3k FanDuel)
The Vegas Golden Knights have been the story of the season so far in the NHL and James Neal is a major reason why. He leads the team in points (11) and goals (7) and is a must-start against the Leafs. The Leafs have given up ten goals in the past four games. Neal will be used in powerplay situations and could benefit from a team who struggles defensively like Toronto does.

Brad Marchand vs MIN (7.1k DraftKings, 7.6k FanDuel)
The super pest that Marchand has become the go-to-guy for the Bruins and this year he has been a point a game type guy. Marchand has 14(8G 6A) points in 12 games this season. He has three points (2G 1A) in the past four games with at least one shot on goal. Boston is in the middle of the pack for goals per game with 3.0.

Blake Wheeler at DAL (7.6k DraftKings, 7.6k FanDuel)
Wheeler leads the team in points (17) and assists (12) and has been a huge spark for the 7-3-3 Jets. He’s been a monster on the power play with one goal and six assists. In the last three games, he’s recorded seven points which included a hat-trick. In the previous five games, he’s been peppering netminders with 16 shots on net.

Others to Consider: William Nylander, David Pastrnak, Nikolaj Ehlers, Brock Boeser

NHL DFS Defensemen

Kevin Shattenkirk vs CBJ (5.4k DraftKings, 6k FanDuel)
The Rangers defenseman is fourth in the league in the d-man scoring with 13 points in 15  games. He has four goals and nine assists. He is a focal point for the Rangers power-play and has one goal and five assists with the man advantage. He had two goals last time out against the Panthers and he is on a five-game point streak. In those five games, he has six points.

Mike Green @ VAN (4.5k DraftKings, 5k FanDuel)
Mik Green has been great so far for the rebuilding Redwings. The offensive defenceman has 12 points in 14 games. He’s tallied one goal and 11 assists with five points coming with the man advantage. Green had one assist last game and has at least one shot on goal in the past four games. Green isn’t an expensive add, which should allow you to put more money in other positions.

Nate Schmidt vs TML (4.1k DraftKings, 3.9k FanDuel)
Schmidt would be a great pickup for your lineup because he is cheap and could have plenty of chances to get some points against the Maple Leafs. He leads Vegas’ d-core in points with seven and is on a mini two-game point streak. In the past three games, he’s had at least two shots on net.

Others to consider: John Carlson, Dustin Byfuglien, Torey Krug, Seth Jones

NHL DFS Goalies

Braden Holtby vs ARI (8.3k DraftKings, 9.2k FanDuel)
Holtby has seven wins this season and should be able to get his eighth against the Coyotes. The Coyotes are 28th in the league in goals per game at 2.53 and are 1-7 on the road. Holtby has won three in a row and has made no less than 33 saves in those contests. He hasn’t had a shutout this year so this Monday night matchup could be the perfect opportunity

Henrik Lundqvist vs CBJ (7.6K DraftKings, 8.3k FanDuel)
It’s a great goaltending matchup between King Henrik and Sergei Bobrovsky. Lundqvist is the pick here. He’s won three in a row and has made at least 28 saves in all of those games. The Rangers netminder has one shutout this year and this game could end up being a defensive battle. He has .902 save percentage and a big-time matchup could bring out the best in King Henrick.

Others to Consider: Jacob Markstrom, Sergei Bobrovsky, Tuukka Rask
