Best NHL DFS Picks for November 2, 2017

NHL DFS Centers

Jack Eichel @ Arizona Coyotes (7.3k DraftKings, 7.6k FanDuel)
The Coyotes and Sabres have struggled to start the season and they simply can’t stop other teams. Both teams are ranked in the bottom five of the league in goals allowed per game. Look for this to be a  high-scoring affair as the over/under is at six. Eichel has 12 points so far this season with eight assists and four goals. The 21-year-old has notched nine points on the road (3G 6A) and could do some damage on the power-play as Arizona has the worst ranked penalty kill in the NHL at 67.7%.

Anze Kopitar vs Toronto Maple Leafs (6.4k DraftKings, 6.6k FanDuel)
The Maple Leafs expected to start their back-up Curtis McElhinney and they’ll be on the second night of a back to back so it could be an opportune time to have at-least one King in your lineup. Kopitar has 14 points so far this season and has been a leader for the new look Kings. His seven goals and seven assists leads his team and is on a three game point streak. Toronto has the given up 3.58 goals a game which is tied for sixth in the NHL.

Sean Monahan vs Pittsburgh Penguins (6.7k DraftKings, 7.5k FanDuel)
Another back-up goalie and another team on the second night of a back to back. The Penguins are expected to start Tristan Jarry. Jarry has only played in one NHL game and is trying to secure his spot as the #2 behind Matt Murray. Monahan gets first-team powerplay minutes for the Flames and should take advantage of some tired legs. He has five goals and five assists this season. He has points in the past the two games for Calgary and is able to get tons of shots on net.

Others to consider: Steven Stamkos, Sean Couturier, Paul Stastyn, Vincent Trocheck, Adrian Kempe

NHL DFS Wingers

Nikita Kucherov @ New York Rangers (8.3k DraftKings, 9.3k FanDuel)
The Lightning are the best team in the league right now and Kucherov is a major reason why. He’s second in the league in points (21) and first in goals (13). He’s an expensive add for your lineup but he has been so dominant it would be tough to leave him off your squad. The Rangers have the seventh worst goals against average in the NHL at 3.54. Kucherov and teammate Steven Stamkos have been lethal on the power-play. Stamkos is atop the league in points with 24. The Russian winger is the leader for wingers with 6.4 FPPG.

Clayton Keller vs Buffalo Sabres (6k DraftKings, 6.4k  FanDuel)
Keller has started the season off red hot with nine goals and six assists. The Sabres have struggled this year and is letting teams score on average 3.58 goals a game. The 19 year will get power-play time and has two points with the man advantage at home. He has at-least two shots on goal in the past five games so he isn’t afraid to fire it on net. He is averaging 5 FPPG.The Coyotes have had few bright spots so far this season but Keller has proven to be one so far.

Evgenii Dadonov vs Columbus Blue Jackets (5.7k DraftKings, 5.7k FanDuel)
This Florida winger has been on fire in the past couple of games and should continue against the Blue Jackets. He’s had three consecutive multi-point games including a goal and two assists in the Panthers last game against the Lightning. He is on the power-play and has three goals and two assists with the extra man. He is averaging 5.0 FPPG and has at-least two shots in the past five games.

Others to Consider: Jamie Benn, James Neal, William Nylander, Gabriel Landeskog, Anders Lee

NHL DFS Defensemen

John Klingberg @ Winnipeg Jets (5.8k DraftKings, 6.4k FanDuel)
Klingberg has started off hot for the Dallas Stars, almost averaging a point-a-game. He averages just over 24 minutes a game and gets some great power-play time for the Dallas. Klingberg is fourth in the league in D-Man scoring so look for him to be jumping into the rush and have the opportunity for some shots on goal. He is averaging 4.3 FPPG and his highest total so far this season was eight fantasy points.

Shea Weber @ Minnesota Wild (5.9k DraftKings, 5.7k FanDuel)
Weber started off slow but he is picking up steam and in a hurry. He has seven points in the past four games with an average of 7.1 FPPG. He had three assists last time out against the Ottawa Senators. Weber will always be on the PP and hasn’t scored on the power-play in the past five games, tonight could be the perfect opportunity to do that. The Habs D-man is averaging 4.6 FPPG.

Tyson Barrie vs Carolina Hurricanes (4.7k DraftKings, 5.3k FanDuel)
Barrie had a rough outing in his last game but he should redeem himself against the Hurricanes. Barrie is a good cheap option to start and he has nine points in eleven games. He has at-least one shot on goal and four points in the past five games. The Avalanche are 13th in the league in goals per game at 3.09. Barrie is averaging 3.7 FFPG.

Others to consider: Jake Muzzin, Kris Letang, Seth Jones, Morgan Rielly, Dion Phaneuf

NHL DFS Goalies

Connor Hellebuyck vs Dallas Stars (7.5k DraftKings, 8.1k FanDuel)
Hellebuyck has been hella good for the Winnipeg Jets, backstopping them to a 6-3-2 record. He hasn’t lost in regulation and has a 1.91 goals against average. Stars are in the bottom half of the league in the scoring and the Jets have picked it up defensively which makes Hellebuyck a must start. He has made at-least 27 saves in the past five games. The Jets Tender is averaging 6.3 FPPG.

Sergei Bobrovsky @ Florida Panthers (7.9K DraftKings,9.4k FanDuel)
Bobrovsky has been showing why he is Vezina trophy so far this season. He is 7-2-0 this season with a 1.97 goals against average. The Jackets have been dominant this year defensively, allowing only 2.50 goals a game. Bobrovsky has made more then 35 saves three times this year and has one shutout so far. The Vezina winner is averaging 6.4 FPPG.

Others to Consider: Cam Ward, Braden Holtby, Mike Smith
