DFS MLB Lineups for June 26, 2017 at Draftkings.com & Fanduel.com

For this daily fantasy baseball season, each day there’s a good slate of DFS MLB games, we’ll be writing up a group of pitchers and hitters that we’re considering for our cash and GPP lineups on DraftKings and FanDuel. We’ll also provide a list of stacks to consider, MLB start times, starting pitchers, and game run totals to give you a good idea of where the fantasy goodness might come from on a given night. As with any DFS sport, the advice below is relevant for fantasy purposes. A player or team might be better or worse from a fantasy perspective than they are in real life due to matchup, price, park factor, etc. This is important when constructing a roster. And if you’re looking for a new way to play DFS, be sure and give BOOM Fantasy a try!

We’ve got six games on the main DFS MLB slate with three top end options on the mound in Chris Sale, Carlos Carrasco, and Jose Berrios. All three have 30+ point upside, and we know this, because all three hit that total in their last outings. We’ve also got the return of Cole Hamels from the DL, priced at only $8.1k on DK due to the time off and the matchup with the Indians. Another interesting option is German Marquez, who has been pretty decent away from Coors Field, and it can only get better in a matchup with the weakling Giants at AT&T Park. As for bats, the Yankees are going to be the chalkiest stack perhaps of the season so far. On a short slate, squared against David Holmberg…Aaron Judge might be 30-40% owned. Behind the Yankees, the Dodgers will also be popular, but could make a nice pivot off of the Yanks. Good luck!  – Matt

A quick reminder while playing DFS MLB, don’t forget baseball is a game of variance. You can make a really solid lineup and still fall short of the cash line. Even Clayton Kershaw can get lit up, and Mike Trout can still go 0 for 4. Baseball is funny like that. Trust the process and know that if you’re playing quality lineups, you’ll be a winner in the long term.

Another thing to remember outside of making sure your player is in the lineup, is to always check the weather. Always. Make this something that is part of your basic routine. Baseball games can get postponed! Your players receive no points from postponed games!

Best DFS MLB Pitchers for June 26, 2017

Chris Sale vs. MIN ($12.9k DraftKings, $11.7k FanDuel)
It’s a short slate tonight and that makes it awfully tough to fade Sale after he struck out 10 batters in a second consecutive dominant outing to pay off his price tag last Tuesday. Twins SP Jose Berrios is young, but he’s going on four days rest while Sale gets the usual five tonight and so far the dynamic LHP has had no issues with Fenway Park, posting a 0.84 WHIP, 11.04 K/9 ratio and .188 BAA at home this season. Current Twins have stuck out 58 times over 169 career at-bats (34.3% K-Rate) against Sale and they’re posting a weak collective .314 wOBA against LHP this year.

Gio Gonzalez vs. CHC ($9.8k DraftKings, $8.8k FanDuel)
Gio has returned to form by limiting hard contact and keeping the ball down in the zone, which has enabled him to hold current Cubs to just 1 XBH with 13 K’s over 50 career at-bats. While the Cubs offense is finally coming around, much of that recent production has been thanks to LHB Anthony Rizzo and switch-hitting rookie Ian Happ at the top of the lineup, so it’s a little easier to trust a southpaw as this important series opens at Nationals Park. Gonzalez has posted a 1.66 ERA with a .211 BAA over 7 home starts this year and is capable of stepping up in big games. This is also a great game theory play as a lot of gamers hate playing pitchers against the Cubs and will avoid it at all costs. If Gio puts up a gem, you’re likely to vault up the leaderboards.

German Marquez @ SF ($7.5k DraftKings, $7k FanDuel)
The Rockies offense has been dynamic, and although they’re on the road, they should be able to put up numbers to help Marquez to a win. The Giants are ranked dead last in collective wOBA (.290) this season, so Marquez actually seems like a better option than boom-or-bust RHP Jeff Samardzija in a meeting at AT&T Park. Colorado’s sophomore RHP has been stingy with a 3.00 ERA and matching 3.20 FIP on the road this season and he makes for a solid mid-tier cash game play with just 1 ER allowed in each of his last 3 starts.

Other pitchers to consider: Carlos Carrasco, Rich Hill, Cole Hamels

Best DFS MLB Hitters for June 26, 2017

Ryan Zimmerman vs. CHC ($4.8k DraftKings, $4k FanDuel)
After a brief lull, Zimmerman has re-asserted his status as one of the hottest hitters in the MLB this year with multiple hits in 3 consecutive starts. He got Sunday off and will look to start this next week fresh with a plus matchup against Cubs young RHP Eddie Butler. The former Rockies pitcher has posted a 5.63 ERA with a 1.13 HR/9 ratio on the road this year and he could very well struggle against a stacked Nationals lineup. Zimmerman seems to have the best price point of the Nats bats tonight even though Daniel Murphy and Bryce Harper are also tempting options with the platoon advantage.

Justin Turner vs. LAA ($4.6k DraftKings, $3.8k FanDuel)
Frequently the forgotten man when discussion a Dodgers stack considering how Cody Bellinger and Corey Seager have been raking, Turner is definitely worth a look tonight against 34-year-old RHP Ricky Nolasco. The Angels SP is allowing RHB to hit .308 with a collective .391 wOBA and stunning 2.98 HR/9 ratio this season, while Turner has long excelled in RvR matchups with a .429 batting average at home against RHP this year. He kept raking last night and is a primer option to consider as part of one of the hottest offenses in the Majors.

Tyler Austin @ CWS ($3.2k DraftKings, $2.2k FanDuel)
A true punt play at the 1B position on FanDuel and intriguing value on DK tonight, Austin will look to build on the slight momentum of logging his first hit of the season on Sunday after getting called up on Saturday. The young OF is likely to continue seeing work with Aaron Hicks heading to the DL and Jacoby Ellsbury still in concussion protocol and Austin will have the platoon advantage tonight against overachieving LHP David Holmberg. Last year, Austin showed flashes of potential along with Aaron Judge by hitting 5 HRs with a SB over 90 plate appearances and he’ll obviously come for much, much cheaper than big Judge in this matchup.

Other hitters to consider: Cody Bellinger, Daniel Murphy, Anthony Rendon, Ian Desmond, Joc Pederson, Cameron Maybin, Sandy Leon, Melky Cabrera

6/26/17 DFS MLB STACKS

Dodgers vs Ricky Nolasco
Nolasco’s been extremely homer-prone at this late stage in his career and that certainly spells trouble ahead of a road matchup against a Dodgers team that leads the Majors with a collective .403 wOBA, .291 ISO Mark and an impressive 34 HRs over the last 14 days. Cody Bellinger is the most clear-cut candidate to dong tonight along with Corey Seager if he’s able to play through a hamstring issue. Joc Pederson has come on strong and we mentioned how dangerous Justin Turner is in good RvR matchups. You can also consider Logan Forsythe as a value play and watch for Kike Hernandez potentially drawing another start.

Rockies vs Jeff Samardzija
Colorado’s tied atop the N.L. with 25 road wins and the Rockies are capable of rallying against boom-or-bust RHP Jeff Samardzija this evening. Nolan Arenado stands out as a hitter who is seemingly unaffected when moving to venues that aren’t as friendly as Coors, and he’s 12-for-26 (.462) in his career against The Shark. Ian Desmond’s also timed up the former football player with 9 hits, including 2 HRs in his career against Samardzija and he’s an intriguing mid-tier OF option on DK. DJ LeMahieu is a third Rockies bat with past success against the Giants SP and he’s quite cheap on DK as is Mark Reynolds, who can always been considered in GPP formats as a candidate to go yard off a hard-throwing RHP.

Other Stacks to consider:
Nationals vs. Eddie Butler
Yankees vs. David Holmberg
